(The scheduled session for Monday, April 18 was not held, and we enjoyed the change of pace. We hoped Seth would deal with any object Dr. Instream had focused on Monday night, as well as the object for last Wednesday April 13.

[...] On Friday April 15 Jane and I and the Gallaghers heard about Bill’s difficulties. [...] Her story however was printed on Monday, April 18, which means she had to see Bill sometime Monday morning. This was possible because Bill Macdonnel, as a teacher, was still on Easter vacation. [...]

(Neither of us had seen Bill’s painting at the time the newspaper article was published, or this session held, on Wednesday, April 20. We did see it this morning, April 23. [...]

Ruburt’s experiences (of April 12; see the end of the session) were excellent, and did affect you beneficially at other levels, by releasing comprehensions that will appear in your time.

APRIL 1, 1970 WEDNESDAY

(This is the regular Wednesday session, for April 1, 1970. [...]

(On the evening of April 2, while brushing her teeth, Jane got this flash from Seth: “You need to relearn the joy of physical achievement.”)

(In my original and unpublished notes in Session 520 in Seth Speaks I listed three chances for the fruition of Seth’s prediction: The mention in Cosmopolitan of Jane’s ESP book for April 1970; Tam’s news about New American Library being very interested in the Seth material book; or Jane’s contract for the dream book being in the mail from Prentice-Hall.)

[...] I’m referring at the moment to his comments about her embarrassment, in the early days, at earning more money than I did [see the deleted session for April 16, 1979, page 97], and that in later years the symptoms served to provide us with a sense of separation from the world, for a number of reasons [see the deleted session for April 18]. Seth has already touched upon such questions in the deleted sessions that follow, especially those for April 30 and May 2, and extends his coverage of them this evening in response to my latest queries. [...]

(I showed Jane a copy again of my dream of April 23, and asked that Seth discuss it this evening, since I was sure it contained at least some positive omens for her.

(Saturday morning, April 25: When we went to bed, Jane dreamed about her mother and about writing about her life with Walt. [...]

(This evening [on April 16] Jane suggested that we sit at our living-room table while I read her morning’s dictation to her. [...] When she went into trance at 7:39 her Seth voice had a distinct tremor—one decidedly more pronounced than on April 12—and a hard-to-define faraway quality. [...]
