(In tonight’s relatively brief session Seth discussed our house adventures in quite a personal way, yet also passed along some related concepts of a more general nature. [...]

[...] You were ready to try again, however, and picked a slow and easy method, pleasant surroundings, to make it easy to become familiar with the sensations before trying anything too adventurous.

[...] I left the apartment and had two very long adventures in the astral condition, all clear and vivid, and recorded in my notes.

[...] The more adventurous will often choose greater challenges, and so in their minds the contrasts between what they want to achieve and their present status can seem to be impossible.

[...] And it’s obvious that in tonight’s little adventure I had once again cleverly protected myself from confronting the full creative blast of the light of the universe by allowing myself just a peek at it, and a careful one at that, at the top of a door. [...]

Seth’s almost casual remark here: “So does it appear to my consciousness,” embodies a new thought for us in connection with Jane’s adventures with massiveness; it’s the kind of clue about the Seth phenomenon that we’re always interested in getting. [...]

[...] The grappling with probabilities enables your mother to judge the circumstances of her physical life, and to program herself ahead of time, so to speak, for her next adventure.

For that reason, science—after its first great adventurous era—had its own flaws built in, and so it must expand its definitions of reality or become a tin-can caricature of itself, a prostituted handmaiden to an outworn technology, and quite give up its early claims of investigating the nature of truth or reality. I bid you all now a fond good evening and I ask you to be adventurous, to be spontaneous, to follow the ways of your own consciousness. [...]
