(No session was held yesterday, Sunday, January 8. However, there are several events from yesterday that I want to summarize here.

(Even though he said he was through with Mass Events for the evening, the first subject Seth touched upon now — my dream of early yesterday morning — certainly was related to statements he’d made just before break, like this one: “When you enter time and physical life, you are already aware of its conditions.” I think my dream is an excellent example of that philosophy; I’d discussed the dream with Jane yesterday, and intended to ask Seth to comment upon it this evening if he didn’t voluntarily do so. [...]

[...] Jane started reading yesterday’s session, but had a lot of trouble—halting, pausing often. [...]

[...] “It would make a great chapter in a book,” I said yesterday. [...]

(A remark she made yesterday probably had helped crystallize my own new determination to do something about what seemed to be a badly eroding situation: She said that Tam had recently told her that Mass Events was due to be published on the 13th—today—with God of Jane due out early in May. These two books are, I think we agree, the most recent triggers that she has responded to in a negative way, so yesterday I suddenly realized that Jane must be reacting presently to the imminent publication of those two works. [...]

[...] I think it came to a head yesterday, when I finally realized that for the last few days Jane had cut down her visits to the bathroom to just two times a day—upon arising, and before going to bed. [...]

(Yesterday a friend from our Sayre days visited us. [...] Yesterday she asked me again to sell her the painting, and I did even though it had sentimental value for Jane and I.

[...] Yesterday I thought I had more understanding why Sonja wanted the painting, and so decided to sell it. [...]

[...] Your trouble of yesterday and today does indeed originate because you have not been painting, but one of the reasons that you have not been painting is that energy has been used as a searchlight into the past, searching for certain origins.
