[...] I had just finished my first small glass of wine when a wave of “feeling” swept over me from foot to head. [...] When it first swept over me, I wondered if the wine was responsible, though actually I had drunk very little.

[...] I feel a sort of free slide or glide that isn’t ordinary, like I’ve had perhaps three glasses of wine…. [...]

[...] She spoke while looking casually ahead for the most part, and performed such ordinary chores as putting out her cigarette, sipping from a glass of wine, sometimes rocking back and forth, etc.)

[...] Jane just about had time to leave trance, say to me, “The session isn’t quite over yet,” sip some wine and offer a few ideas, when she resumed at 10:29.)

(I was amused to see that Jane paused in trance just long enough to add a little wine to her glass. [...]

[...] Pouring me a glass of wine just before the session was due, she said she could feel Seth “buzzing around.”

[...] Men in business suits mix with people in hippie outfits, and we always have wine for those who like it. [...]

[...] Everyone else sat about, sipping wine and listening.

[...] Still in trance, Seth/Jane said while pouring some wine: “I am giving you Tam’s material together—it will be easier to type.” [...]

[...] The glass of wine on the coffee table before me, the cigarettes, and the mass-produced table itself, are all reminders that my most adventuresome journeys into other realities are rooted, for now at least, in the physical world of events that we all share together.

[...] For now, since I do not have brandy, I will drink wine. [...]
