Your lack of knowledge can lead you to insist upon your own ideas of what must occur, or how or when. [...]

(It wasn’t until after the Canadian couple had left us, actually, that the implications of what had happened began to sink in. [...]

(I told Jane after the session that the affair involving Carol and Fred, plus the session material itself, had seemed to give me a firm grasp on the Framework 2 reality; I’ve already begun putting the new appreciation into use. [...]

[...] The young lady wanted to see the both of you vividly enough so that that desire, with no effort on her part, was a reality in Framework 2. Miss Dineen likes people, and would be quite lonely were it not for the desire to meet with and enjoy other people. [...]

(In a long conversation that Jane and I found hard to follow at times, Carol described how she’d put together elements from various philosophies and belief systems in order to get what she wanted. [...]

[...] The Christmas tree and all the decorations have been dismantled; the house is cleaned to some extent, and the copyedited version of Volume 2 of “Unknown” Reality has been returned to Prentice-Hall. [...]

[...] Naturally this is brought about by my own reactions to whatever the trigger happens to be, but still “Unknown,” and other creative endeavors have often been involved, when conflicts between what I think of as useful creative work run into doing things like shoveling snow, or other household items that I seem to think of as “chores.” [...]

(The crew at the hospital did have a birthday party for me, and even though I knew what they were up to, it was still a delightful surprise, what with their obvious good will and cheers, the cards, and the food — more than we could eat, at least Jane and I. Mary, the head nurse, made the chocolate cake with chocolate icing. [...]

Conflicting beliefs about the nature of reality can bring about dilemmas in almost any form, for the individual will always try to make sense out of his or her surroundings, and try to at least see the world as a cohesive whole.

[...] You differed only in that Ruburt chose what seems to be more drastic methods in meeting those threats. [...]

The suggestions however also help you as you give them to Ruburt—highly important as far as your joint realities are concerned. [...]

[...] These beliefs have become a part of your private and joint realities, affecting you (me) invisibly as they affect Ruburt visibly.

[...] By taking notice of seemingly unpredictable events, by changing your focus, you can indeed begin to sense the larger patterns of such a reality. And that reality leaves many traces in your own experience. [...]

The people of a nation can at any given moment decide to activate or experience a particular event almost entirely in the physical realm, or to separate its elements in such a way that half of it is experienced physically and the other half in dream reality. [...]

[...] I’m not sure what percentage of the human population now lives in urban areas, but it must be high, and climbing. [...]

[...] Not only mentally and emotionally but also alters the electromagnetic reality of the internal physical structure.

[...] To other organisms in different realities perception would therefore be translated in an entirely different manner.

[...] But you are bound to misinterpret what I say in some sessions, and so it behooves me to speak more plainly. You do not realize now, you do not let yourself realize, the beauty and the complicated reality of your being. [...]

[...] Ruburt has ridiculed the conventional idea of a god who says “Do what I want you to do or I will destroy you,” and yet you say to life “Give me what I want or I threaten to destroy myself.”

There is such a preoccupation with what she has not that she is completely blinded to what she has. [...]

[...] You have a fine, strong and worthwhile purpose, but you will not fulfill it well while you rail against what you do not have, and ignore the abilities and gifts and blessings that you do have.

(In connection with that material, Jane wrote a paper on March 26, in which she briefly outlined the probable direction Seth would be taking in Mass Reality.

The table is the one physical item, representing the domestic reality with which each person must deal. [...]

[...] As a further benefit there will be increased joy, and a feeling of oneness with the self, and with reality in general.

[...] Such a moment point has a peculiar molecular structure, that is a result of intensification of action, and basically has nothing to do with the moment point happening to coincide with what you call a physical moment.

It is, as a rule, lack of knowledge on the part of the ego as to the nature of reality, and its part in it, and the resulting fear, that often prevents a personality from accepting spontaneous expression of emotions in general. [...]

[...] Each individual utilizes carbohydrates and protein in a slightly different manner and what is good for one is not necessarily for another.

[...] What is needed is a balanced diet, a normally balanced diet. [...]

Your ability will help you in your dealings with physical reality, in very definite ways. [...]

[...] We will clear up what we can when we can; but allow the impressions uninterrupted flow.

[...] In most instances, or at least in many instances, I do not see the particular physical image of a witness to a session; but indeed as you described it, I see what you may call a composite image, an energy reality that is composed of past personalities, and in many cases also of future personalities that will be adopted by the inner self.

(One question concerned what Seth actually “sees” when he is confronting a witness, and he answers this briefly in tonight’s session. [...]

[...] It certainly goes without saying that all remembered dream events should be checked against reality, as you have been doing, so that any clairvoyant dreams are clearly checked and recorded.

[...] What about it, huh?” (Pause.)

[...] The outer ego is rather more tied to physical properties, and yet it can directly experience inner reality by a change of focus through aligning itself with the inner ego, focusing its energies with the inner rather than the outer senses. This is by far the most advantageous method of experiencing inner reality, because the outer ego is therefore consciously aware of what has been going on, and can use such knowledge in its own sphere.

[...] It can choose to remain what it is, one ego. [...]

[...] Now you will see what I am saying. [...]

Now if there is good communication between the self, that is the inner self and the outer ego, then the ego begins to understand what it is, and also to realize that it has greater capacities than it can realize by continued reincarnations, upon one plane.

[...] Knowing those coordinates would of course be very important, but the other realities would still remain nonrealities to you unless you changed your primary focus. When you do that there is no need to know what the coordinates are. [...]

[...] I described what I had experienced, not knowing if I had accomplished anything even remotely approaching what he had in mind. [...]

[...] I said I thought I understood what Seth was doing: in light of the material we’d been getting, he was giving Jane the experience of that ancient time and our present time, showing that both are simultaneous. [...]

[...] The noise of the chant was like something that you’d use to turn on this instrument—when the chant got to a certain pitch it turned on this instrument; and it somehow intensified and focused sound to what we would call an incredible degree —broke it down and then focused it in certain directions.”

[...] I want to suggest a different kind of program, that is, a version of what you have, and that will bring better results. I am aware of course of your conversation this morning, and I must state that it is difficult for me to try to explain what is so clear to me, and obviously unperceived by either of you a good deal of the time.

“I did briefly give him a message (on October 23, 1981): Attend to what is before you, for it is there for a reason. [...] What I mean is quite simple: The solutions already exist in your lives. (Three months ago, way back on August 13, following the outline she’d written on July 8 for The Magical Approach to Reality: A Seth Book,¹ Jane began work on the first draft for Chapter 1 of that project. [...]

Early in September—magically appearing as though from another reality, for we’d quite forgotten about the situation—we received through Prentice-Hall six copies of the reprinted Dutch-language edition of Seth Speaks. [...]

[...] In the past you have been afraid of what you considered, but no longer consider, the chaos of inwardness. And he was afraid of what he considered the frozen nature of the inwardness, once formed.
