As this formation took place there was constant give-and-take between interior and exterior realities, in your terms. The growth of feelings, sensations, I am-ness, concepts and beliefs was paralleled by the resulting exterior manifestations of animal species, and mineral and vegetable emergences; with these came the growth of complementary neurological structures, and the precise physical formations, such as mountains, valleys, seas, and so forth needed to sustain them.

[...] Your nervous system would find great difficulty in a rhythm in which a day was stretched out to be three or four times as long, for instance.

[...] As far back as the 613th session in Chapter One, Seth was making statements like this: “Your feelings have electromagnetic realities that rise outward, affecting the atmosphere itself,” but at the time we paid little attention to the implications behind such ideas. [...]

Again, many can thankfully praise a given doctor for discovering a disease condition “in time,” so that effective countering measures were taken and the disease was eliminated. [...]

[...] The complete physician would be an individual, (male or female), who was in superb health, and therefore understood himself the particular dynamics that operate between spiritual vitality and physical well-being. [...]

(Until she told me following the session, I didn’t realize that Jane was slightly discomfited by Seth’s remark about holes. I certainly wasn’t. I thought that her reaction itself was humorous; apparently Seth did too. [...]

[...] As a result, the religions preached that only man had a soul and was dignified by emotional feelings. [...]

[...] (With dry humor again:) Before my comments for Ruburt: I thought my risqué remark about “no holes barred” was quite in keeping with the content of such material. [...]

[...] What I objected to in your recording was the implication that once the conscious mind as you know it was quieted there was no other conscious mind to take over, and that the ordinary conscious mind was the only conscious mind that you have. [...]

I developed the hilarious notion that if I did the job the way I really wanted to, this introduction would be as long as that first volume is itself! [...]
