(Jane had no voice phenomena this session, nor any changes in her hands; the same rings she was so troubled by last session bothered her not at all this time. [...]

[...] And for the present I am using Ruburt’s voice, making no effort to superimpose my own. [...]

At times I may use my own voice simply because it will be easier to get some kinds of material across, and also because it just would be fun for a change. [...]

She had carried those beliefs of course throughout that period of time, and they were expressed unconsciously through her body — through gestures, expressions, tones of voice. [...]

[...] Jane had been “really out, not aware of anything,” she said — but Seth promptly returned when I voiced some doubts about using this material in his book.)

[...] Her voice was rather quiet, her delivery contained pauses as usual.)

Initially language had nothing to do with words, and indeed verbal language emerged only when man had lost a portion of his love, forgotten some of his identification with nature, so that he no longer understood its voice to be his also. [...]

I said before that early man felt a certain emotional magnification, that he felt, for example, the wind’s voice as his own. [...]

(Jane began speaking in a very quiet voice, but quite actively, and with her eyes open at once.)

It might be added later here that on succeeding days Jane had several more auditory-type experiences, all involving topics other than houses or “Unknown” Reality. In none of those episodes was she aware of Seth’s voice, per se, but even so we see relationships between them and the time she did hear his voice; see my description of that event at the beginning of the 710th session.

(12:06.) The [inner] voice said: “Wait a few days,” because Ruburt unconsciously knew that the … owner … already had a higher offer that might very well fall through — in which case she would later be more amiable to negotiation.¹⁶

[...] Suddenly a male voice burst loudly through that dream fabric in a very intrusive way, saying only: “Wait a few days.”

[...] “That wasn’t Seth’s voice, but I recognized it as giving me the answer I wanted,” she told me later. [...]

(Jane’s Seth voice was a bit deeper than usual, but not all that loud.)

[...] Jane’s Seth voice was stronger and more positive than usual, I thought, with considerable emphasis at times.)

(Jane’s delivery had been sporadic in an odd way, her Seth voice subdued, making me feel that she could lose the session at any moment by slipping off into sleep. [...]
