It was indeed to lift you, as it did you, in your dreams from the ordinary world that you know. Let it enable you to understand yourself better as you. Let it show you portions of your own identity as it has with our cousin of Richelieu (to Bette) and our secretary over here (Natalie). Let it lead you into other aspects of consciousness and vitality as it is with our friend over here and to open doors of feeling as it has with you (Alison Hess). Let it bring families closer together as it has in your case (Janice). And let it above all, also arouse questions as it has with you (Arnold) and with you (Tom D.) but realize again that this vitality that rings through this voice rings through your own identity and yours. That the power beneath the voice is but a shadow of the vitality that is within each of you. Let it then give you confidence in your own identity and in your own reality. Move yourselves and tables will take care of themselves.

(To Daniel.) Now you must realize the vitality that is within each of you and not be afraid of it as you are. Now you are controlling it and disciplining it, but also, you are afraid of it. You simply bottled it up out of fear of your own ability and of the power that resides within you.

[...] Action is the breath of inner vitality, of which all materializations of any kind are composed. It represents, again, the relationship between unexpressed inner vitality and materialized vitality.

You have the tendency of this inner vitality to materialize, and its inability to completely do so. In the dream state the tendency for this vitality to materialize meets with little resistance. These three dilemmas represent three areas of reality within which inner reality, or inner vitality, can experience itself. And here we have also the reason, or one of the reasons why, inner vitality can never achieve complete materialization. The very action involved in vitality’s attempt to materialize itself adds to the inner dimension of inner vitality.

[...] Inner vitality, materializing in any form whatsoever, at once multiplies the possibilities of further materialization. At the same time, because inner vitality is self-generating, only a minute fraction of inner vitality is needed to seed a whole universe.

[...] Action is, instead, the inside vitality of the inner universe. It is the dilemma between inner vitality’s desire and impetus to completely materialize itself, and its inability to completely do so. [...]

All, all–life is full of vitality, and all life is joyful, and sitting around the table with long faces is not any more beneficial than sitting around the table with wine on it and the lights lit. My vitality is here, and it was not drawn here by long faces nor by sorrow. Vitality grows as it triumphs over sorrows and in any of my antics, as with the suddenly exploding light, there is also a purpose. [...]

Now you should feel a strong vitality here, and you should feel it touch each of you. You all have a vitality and energy that you do not realize that you possess, and it takes such an ancient, old decrepit, sorrowful spirit such as I to tell you. [...]

In actuality all of the seemingly erratic genetic variances that often crop up in human development are vital to the elasticity of the entire genetic system.

Many deficient individuals in their way are as vital to the development of humanity as geniuses are, for both preserve the elastic nature of human consciousness, and promote its coping qualifications.
