[...] Actually, I did — a lot of them — particularly concerning certain themes I’ve been writing about lately, but I was tiring so I let the questions go. [...]

[...] More than once I’ve seen her produce excellent material like she had tonight even though, before a session, she’d announce a reservation about holding it for one reason or another.

(We’ve held only three private, or deleted, sessions since Seth came through with the last regular one [the 885th] almost six weeks ago. [...]

[...] Now, our country’s initial concern over the accident at TMI has grown to include deep questions about why we’ve built so many nuclear energy generating plants near large population centers; carrying out a mass evacuation in case of a serious accident at any of those sites seems to present a series of insurmountable challenges.

[...] We’ve had very little snow this winter. [...]

[...] “I really enjoy getting up early, because no matter what else happens I know we’ve got a good morning’s work in….”

[...] “How could you?—you’ve just destroyed all the confidence I’ve managed to build up in the last few days.” [...]

[...] I’ve been getting stuff. [...] Is that what I’ve been getting?”

(This is very important, since all of our psychic work is done at night, after we’ve already put in a full day writing and painting, and carrying out all those other actions connected with just living in an organized way. [Yet I’ve had to modify my schedule in order to find the additional time required for the preparation of this manuscript: I paint in the mornings and do this work in the afternoons.]

(I’ve picked up her new reading glasses at Jim Adams’s office, but she hasn’t been wearing them because they need adjusting. [...]

(“But I don’t see any signs, really, that anything we’ve done has changed his condition in any way.”)

(The strange thing in this is that this session contains new material, after all of the private ones we’ve had. [...]

[...] It may be beating a dead horse, but let me say that I’ve told Jane time and again that I don’t consider her physical condition an acceptable price to pay for any sort of creative achievement. [...]

[...] I think the session probably the most important that we’ve achieved, though this importance is built upon all those that have gone before, of course.

As Seth I’ve produced five previous books: Seth Speaks; The Nature of Personal Reality; The “Unknown” Reality, Volumes I and II; The Nature of the Psyche; and The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events, and Seth is halfway through a sixth book: Dreams, “Evolution,” and Value Fulfillment. [...]

(I’ve never really forgotten that statement of almost six months ago, nor Seth’s saying at the end of the 699th session that he’d go into my questions about it “when your material will fit.”

[...] “I’m tired,” she said, “but wait a minute — I’ve got the answer. [...]

[...] What I’ve said in Psychic Politics should certainly add a lot of insight there.”

[...] I told her that my stomach has been bothering me with gas lately, quite often, and that on several nights recently I’ve gotten up to take some soda. [...]

(My suspicion is that her cold-and-other symptoms mean that we’ve set up some resistance on the part of her psyche since she initiated the Day 1 program on February 2. Today is Day 18 of the program. [...]

[...] I don’t think the latter is the primary cause, though, even with the enlarged veins I’ve had there for many years. Today, my stomach began bothering; I’ve taken baking soda three times, and that seemed to help, if temporarily, each time. [...]

[...] However, we’ve been extremely pleased to see that in the last couple of days her legs have acquired a good deal more movement at the knees: her toes spanned a distance from front to back of a good six inches as she swung her legs back and forth. [...]
