[...] If you can tune into that intensity, so to speak, you will automatically translate it into physical data, and you will perceive a physical object.

Now you can translate inner data into the terms of the outer senses, but always some distortion is absolutely necessary, for the very method of perception you see colors that which is perceived.

[...] As soon as you begin to translate an idea you are distorting it. [...]

There was a point, you see, of interpretation and translation (pause) as Seth interpreted material from me in such a way that Ruburt could then receive it. At our last session, with the greater efficiency and the development on Ruburt’s part (pause), the material was more direct, and the translation at his end automatic and smoothly performed.

You must understand that in a good measure much of our material is an attempt to put into words concepts and ideas that are far too vast for any such translation.

(Briefly, Jane’s voice became a little stronger.) While I was the source of the material, Seth as you think of him was at times a silent partner, helping Ruburt make the proper translations while standing aside in a personal manner. [...]

[...] Through their art they see their beliefs and feelings translated into form. On that level they are studying the ways in which beliefs and feelings are translated into living reality. [...]

I will be here to see that this is put to practical use also, translated into terms that can be understood, and provide a firm basis from which you can further explore the nature of such ancient perceptions. [...]

The Sumari language itself will help Ruburt by freeing his concepts, and release him from the almost automatic process of translating data into stereotyped English terms. [...]

The translations when they come must make sense to the Western mind. [...]
