[...] Seth came through with half a page of information for Jane — personal material that’s deleted here — then ended the session at 10:34 P.M. “I’m so unsure of myself it must be terrible,” Jane said as soon as she came out of trance. [...]

[...] Using her lightning-quick reflexes, she kept knocking it around the living room and beneath Jane’s rocker as my wife went into trance, then began to speak. [...]

[...] After she went so easily into trance, Jane’s delivery was very active and energetic—in most definite contrast to the near-bleary-eyed state she’d been in before Seth began speaking. [...]

[...] She sat opposite me, smoking, waiting to go into trance. [...]

(Jane has not been experimenting with psychological time since Seth suggested she stop at the time of her prolonged trance state of March 15.

[...] She achieved a much greater degree, however, as when she attempted to travel psychically and ended up in her trance of November 4, 1964. [...]

[...] Jane was slow coming out of trance; it had been deep. [...]

(Jane finally said that my tirade precluded her going back into trance to resume the session. [...]

[...] I wanted to note Jane’s reaction, while in trance, to being told she had named the envelope object at least in a general way. [...]

[...] I felt somewhat that way also; indeed, we have often wondered whether I too am in a light trance while Seth is around. [...]

[...] But as Jane has said, things are “calmer” psychically when we’re by ourselves: In trance or out, she can concentrate upon the work at hand, free of the presence of a third individual — one who is bound to radiate his or her own psychic characteristics. [...]

(Jane always sits quietly for a few moments after leaving trance until she is fully oriented. [...]

(While receiving this material, I seemed to be in a light trance state myself, feeling quite lethargic at times. [...]

(9:56 P.M. As soon as she was out of trance I told Jane the session was an excellent one. [...]

[...] At the end of the session Jane said she got to her feet because she felt very dissociated sitting down; she was talking with her eyes closed and felt that she might slip into a trance. [...]
