(The following material is taken from notes I made at the time, and memory. [...] Jane spoke too rapidly much of the time for verbatim notes also. [...] “I was part of that cult Seth told you about last time...you know where it was. [...]

[...] Seth didn’t appear; however, although Jane said she felt him around at various times. [...] Instead of telling us about it, Seth’s letting me feel the emotions of that young girl you were involved with when you were Nebene, at the time of Christ....” [...]

(Jane displayed mild symptoms of anger and resentment, which grew somewhat more vehement at times. [...]

The suggestions he has written down should be read twice at a time, three times daily, morning, noon and before retiring. [...] Never mind resenting the lost time. [...]

[...] Today by telephone Nancy verified Seth, in that her mother is seriously ill at Mayo Clinic; the mother has been ill for some time, but was not, for instance, the last time Jane talked to Nancy, sometime prior to the 358th Session. [...]

(The usual session time of 9 PM came and passed while Jane and I talked. [...]

(Five weeks ago [in the notes leading off Session 821], I wrote that Jane could resume work on The Further Education of Oversoul Seven — or Seven Two — at any time. [...] “Seven’s got all the time in the world,” she laughed more than once. [...]

[...] Ignore for a time everything you have believed and see your thoughts as the real events. Try to view normal physical occurrences as the concrete physical reactions in space and time to your own feelings and beliefs. [...]

While still preserving the integrity of physical events as you understand them, [each of] you must alter the focus of your attention to some extent, so that you begin to perceive the connections between your subjective reality at any given time, and those events that you perceive at any given time. [...]

[...] I cried for my wife several times a day for a year. Even though it’s simultaneous, according to Seth, I needed “time” for my long journey of recovery.

[...] Five months after my wife’s death, I called Laurel, who was an administrative assistant at a center for the arts and humanities in Los Angeles, California, for the first time. [...] Yet even so, as the years passed I began to better see that recovery from Jane’s death was going to take the rest of my life; and that within the framework of simultaneous time uncounted millions of others had experienced that truth, were doing so now, and would be doing so. No, it is not your first time out, so to speak. It is your third time out. [...]

We will take a good amount of time to cover this and allied subjects, as we must also deal with the pattern and its source. Since matter is constantly re-created, and instantaneous, many of your ideas of time are of course distorted, since you have taken it for granted that matter changes with, or in, time. You have judged a time interval by the seeming changes in a given material object.

[...] Although she still chose her words carefully, still there was not the straining and searching attitude so noticeable last time. [...]

[...] I had indeed intended initially to have a short session last time, but because the material — please appreciate my pun—on material was coming through so well, I continued.

First of all, Ruburt may continue with his daily psychological time experiments. But these are to be carried on but once daily, and if he tries any other sort of experiment, such as he tried with the Father Trainor poetry session last week, then he is not to attempt his regular psychological time experiment for that day.

[...] With the schedule that I have suggested the inner energies are vividly and intensely focused, but for a short period of your time. [...] Too many attempts at this time do not permit this brief but excellent intensification, and can lead to that peculiar semitrance state in which Ruburt found himself last week.

[...] The reading this time was not as striking as the first time, but still there was certainly something definitely going on.

Creation occurs, again, most often through value fulfillment, which exists in a dimension having nothing to do with your space and time; and in the deepest sense creation as a whole, originally, if you’ll excuse the term, had nothing to do with either your space or your time, and the so-called birth of your known outer universe came long after in the story of creation and value fulfillment.

The atoms and molecules that make up all physical cells are not basically bound by your time. They act within the framework of your time, but the condensed knowledge that they contain carries with it its own peculiar and unique consciousness, that is not bound by your physical laws.

(While trying psychological time I had the following three experiences. [...]

(Actually time plays an important role here. To type up notes from a recording means I have to spend as much time, again, listening to a session. This expenditure is then increased each time I have to stop and rerun a section to pick up a missed word, or because the dialogue simply runs so rapidly, etc.

[...] At times the almost deafening power of her voice, and its emotional content, were indeed thrilling. [...] She said she was subjectively aware of the gestures she executed with her left hand, yet she felt the hand was not really hers at the time. [...]

[...] What you are exists independently of both space and time. When you are resting between reincarnations, you rest in a dimension in terms of space and time. You come back into space and time if you desire to reincarnate. Where I am, space and time as you define it, do not exist. [...]

[...] The duty he imposed upon himself this time was to integrate these two strong aspects of himself, and he has had his difficulties in doing so. We have known each other many times, Ruburt and Joseph and I.

With Ruburt’s eyes open, I can see you as he sees you as a particular personality in this particular space and time and then, you see, I can place you within your own development. [...]

(“Saros was just three, then, at the time of death?”)

(When Jane came out of the bathroom after washing, she said several times that she was getting this information, that it had a strong charge behind it, and that she “didn’t know what to do.” She repeated this phrase several times. [...] She had experienced similar feelings some other times here in the past week, particularly after the last session, and made an effort to discharge them reasonably by talking. [...]

[...] Her eyes were open most of the time. [...] A mild anger showed itself at times.

[...] Now you spend half of your time trying to figure them out, and what is wrong with Ruburt—time that you should be working. [...]

[...] At the same time you must of course work at understanding the prior belief. But at the same time you must make efforts to act according to the new one that you want.

The times that Ruburt managed rather considerable improvements even in the face of strong negative beliefs, were times when he managed to convince himself against all objective evidence that there was nothing wrong with him physically but habitual stiffness. [...]

Give us time. [...] His problem, the artificial dilemma that exists in the daylight hours as to how to spend the time, and the fear that ordinary distractions will take him from his work. [...]

[...] He is pleased with the time that has been gained, with the abilities that he has used and developed, and filled with a natural creative zest. (This occasion was June 17,1964, was a psy-time experience of Jane’s, and also involved her receipt of information about John Bradley. [...] Jane says she has had this experience of static from which a voice emerged three times, all during psy-time.

[...] Her eyes opened narrowly at times during the session. [...]

[...] It is not likely that I will be heard by anyone for some time in the way that Philip heard me speak. [...]

[...] This was the second time Seth had given me the chance to ask a question after an experiment. [...] Because we had a witness I didn’t think we would spend too much time checking details. Earlier in the day I had wondered what would happen if I asked Seth/Jane to go over all of the data again; I supposed Jane would take this as a sign that the first data wasn’t much good, and at break Jane said this was her thought at the time.

The inverted time system recognizes the actual nature of time, however. [...]

[...] A connection with a ring, and with a time schedule.” [...] The time element is also apparent in the above material.

[...] This is often a time of deep unconscious activity, when new latent probable characteristics are biding their time, so to speak, waiting for emergence.

In surface terms the sense of “I” that you possess is the result of constantly emerging probable identities, given continuity in time through the physical apparatus of the body with its built-in intervals of nerve reaction. [...] (With gestures, and forcefully.) This is the result of the focusing and yet limiting behavior of the physical brain, for effective survival behavior in your reality depends upon time reactions. [...] You do go through transformations of beliefs all the time, and your perception of the world is different. [...]

(I mentioned black and white thinking in the notes, and Seth has also used that phrase several times recently. [...] I meant, of course, that all of us indulge in such black and white thinking at times, on some subjects, and I added that I periodically have to catch myself when I overreact to certain events. [...]

(Rather intently:) He would not have had the sessions to begin with over this period of time for your sake alone, or even for your sake primarily—they simply would have petered out. [...] Nothing, however, would have kept him at the sessions for this amount of time unless he wanted them. [...]

[...] Once again she was very comfortable on the couch after supper, watching the news on television; in fact, for some days now she’d had her best times, as far as feeling better go, while relaxing after supper. [...]

[...] At times I could see over the top of this wall, made of vine-covered stones; at other times it was honeycombed and complex; and at other times it was so tall that I could not see over it. [...]

[...] So is time many-levelled, yet all levels are one. [...]

[...] One whole entity may need several manifestations, even at simultaneous so-called times.

[...] The session resulted after the stage had been set earlier in the evening, through Jane’s playing the tape recently received from the Murtough family in Chula Vista, CA; and, afterward, her playing part of the tape made some time ago for Dr. Instream.

(Jane spoke actively, her eyes open much of the time. [...]
