(4:54 P.M. I thought it rather humorous, now, when Jane denied having the session early so that we would be free to watch the last episode of The Word if we wanted to. [...]

[...] The best thing you can do for yourself, or your loved ones, or the world, is to stop worrying, and hence release all of the negative thoughts therein generated.

(With much amused irony:) The foolhardy, the brave, the utterly courageous, might even take a step further, and imagine that whatever problem is involved no longer exists, or to pretend that “it will go away,” for in any case “it is not as bad as I thought.”

[...] I was trying, you see, to make you comfortable by dealing with what I thought was a common point of interest.

(I thought it a good idea that this be the end of the session, however, Seth came through again at 10:30 as the three of us sat talking about various things. [...]

[...] “I thought that when you were getting better it showed,” I said. [...]

[...] And in a matter of speaking, again, man becomes the earth thinking, and thinking his own thoughts, man in his way specializes in the conscious work of the world—a work that is dependent upon the indispensable “unconscious” work of the rest of nature, a nature that sustains him (all very intently). And when he thinks, man thinks for the microbes, for the atoms and the molecules, for the smallest particles within his being, for the insects and for the rocks, for the creatures of the sky and the air and the oceans.

(Silently, quietly, all distorted thought patterns in her subconscious mind are removed and dissolved, and the vitality, wholeness and beauty of the life principle are made manifest in every atom of her being. [...]

[...] I decided to do more deliberate experimentation from the dream state by napping during the day — something I hadn’t thought of earlier.

As Seth continued dictation I was fired by his purpose to make the unknown elements of human life at least partially visible — an audacious goal, I thought — and I tried to do my part in recording all such disclosures as they appeared in our lives and were reflected in the experiences of our friends and students.

[...] Seth stresses the importance of probabilities as they exist in relationship to a thought, an ordinary physical event, or the mass event of Homo sapiens as a species, and emphasizes the existence of probable realities as the understructure of free will.

[...] Sometimes I thought she was simply being kind in so reassuring me. [...]

“The thought occurred to me that perhaps Seth’s remarks (in sessions 724 and 732) were more pertinent to the situation than we imagined. [...]

[...] I thought the session had ended, but as Jane and I sat talking Seth came through once more. [...]

(At first I had thought Seth meant that Jane and I would be involved in the trouble seen for Leonard, but Seth reassured me by saying we would not. [...]

Thoughts are indeed events therefore. [...]

[...] Some thought concerning your own dream state may give you an intimate key to understand what I mean here.

[...] Then a man I thought to be a policeman entered. [...]

[...] While sitting on the couch, she had thought again about missing coffee break; the thought had come with some vehemence because the gallery is in a state of flux, and Jane finds this quite upsetting.)

[...] I thought the men might be inspecting a property, and so add that this is the time of month that Jane and I have been considering the purchase of a home. [...]

(Making my feelings plain, I thought, without saying much actually, I left the garage and walked down to tell Jane, who by now had left the gallery and was waiting for me outside. I had time during the walk to give some thought to using positive expectation, but had not calmed down enough to try it effectively. [...]

[...] (Dave had said he thought he had, at last break.) You inflicted such a wound upon another, though this was in self-protection, and emotional impetus of the time was strongly written upon your inner memory.

(Long pause at 10:30.) There is another man who could share the program with him, the one mentioned in our earlier session (the 496th), that was thought not available. [...]

(“Why the beard?” I can say that I have given no thought to cultivating a beard.

[...] It concerned ways by which we could increase our feelings of freedom on a daily basis, and, I thought, was excellent. [...]

The differences between any of those systems of thought and Christianity may be so apparent that the similarities escape you. [...]

We have seen that dreams and thoughts and psychological experiences all have an electric reality.

It is most difficult at this time to even hint at the myriad complexity and dimension of the electrical actuality as it exists, when you consider that each of your own thoughts is composed of a unique intensity of impulse, shared by nothing else, and that the same may be said for every dream that you will have in your lifetime; and that all your experience is gathered together in particular ranges of intensity, again completely unique, codified; and that the summation of all that you are exists in one minute range or band of intensities, then you will see how difficult it is. [...]

(I also wanted Seth to comment upon my very discouraged reactions to the mail today; the letters were certainly not the kind we wanted in response to our efforts, I thought.

[...] They are not used to dealing with imaginative concepts, or conceptual thought, or of applying the intelligence to the realm of the imagination. [...]
