Jane and I thought it most interesting that within 29 days [in October] various events—the arrival of Volume 2 of Conversations, Jane’s coming through with her “attend” material and poetry, the visit of her former students, and even her contentions with Magical Approach—had helped her rejuvenate her sense of physical ease and well-being on at least three separate occasions. “Some really beneficial and odd developments are taking place in my physical condition,” Jane wrote, “generally starting last Saturday night (October 31) when the kids visited from NYC—students I haven’t seen in nearly two years. [...]

[...] Later one of my students, George, picked out the painting as a portrait of a personality called Bega, who communicates with him through automatic writing. Seth corroborated this, and said that Bega is one of his own students in another level of reality.

[...] The sculpture Seth refers to above represents some done by students in Bill Macdonnel’s art classes; at the end of the school year the students did not claim their work, so Bill presented us with some pieces. [...]

[...] I came across them in one of the books on ancient history that Shirley Bickford, one of Jane’s students, brought for us to consult on the very ancient civilization, Sumeria, in Mesopotamia, from 4,000—2,000 BC, I believe, without consulting dates.

(Shortly after supper this evening, Tom Milligan, a former student of Jane’s, brought us a copy of Saga Magazine for December, 1971. [...]

You said earlier that everyone is looking to find themselves, and as our regular students should know, there is only one place to look, and you begin with yourself. [...]

(The head and silhouette mentioned here reminded Jane that one of the projects she and Nancy planned for the nursery school class involved the students making silhouette drawings of their heads, as Christmas gifts for their respective parents. The plan was for Jane and Nancy to do the actual tracing of profile, with the students filling them in, etc.

(Seth refers to last night’s ESP class, in which Jane and some of her students obtained some unusual effects and experiences. [...]
