To begin with, not enough is understood about the biological structure, for the nature of the atoms and molecules that form the biological structure is still largely misunderstood, and very little has been done in this field.

[...] But during its alliance within the physical system, it is diffused within the cellular structure, and interrelating actions between the biological system, the electrical system, and the personality structure actually form the reality of the human individual.

As far as Ruburt’s personality structure is concerned, we are extremely fortunate. The ego is secure enough, and strong enough, as an organizing agent, for the basic personality energies, so that it can allow me to communicate without fear that the personality structure will be in any way disrupted.

[...] This is not to say that structure does not exist within the dream universe, for structures of a mental or psychic nature do exist. But structure is not dependent upon matter as in the physical universe, and the motion of molecules is more spontaneous, and an almost unbelievable depth of experience is possible within what would seem to you a fraction of a moment.

Obviously, time in terms of continuity, is not an element of importance in the dream universe, and this is one of the reasons for the lack of physical structure. The intuitions and certain inner abilities here have so much more freedom that it is unnecessary for molecules to be used in any imprisoning form or structure. [...]

I have mentioned that what I call the dream universe is indeed composed of molecular structure, and that it is a continuing reality, even though your own awareness of it is most usually limited, for quite necessary reasons, to the hours of your own sleep. [...]

The conditions of existence are largely determined by genetic structure. [...] Genetic structure makes possible physical organisms through which life is to be experienced, and to a large extent that structure must determine the kind of action possible in the world, and the way or ways in which volition can be effectively expressed.

Now besides this physical genetic structure, there is an inner bank of psychic information that in your terms would contain the “past” history—the reincarnational history—of the individual. This provides an overall reservoir of psychic characteristics, leanings, abilities, knowledge, that is as much a part of the individual’s heritage as the genetic structure is a part of the physical heritage.

[...] When you build physical structures you pile brick upon brick. It may seem that psychological events have the same kind of structure, since after all you do perceive them in time.

The psychological symbols with which you are familiar in natural terms rise up like smoke, inherent in cellular structure itself. [...]

Individually and en masse, in the dream state you change the orientation of your consciousness, and deal with the birth of events which are only later time-structured or physically experienced.

So psychological structures form to which various names are given. The names are meaningless, but the structures behind them are not. Such psychological structures also retain their identity, their pattern of uniqueness, even while they change constantly, die and are reborn.

The eye rises out of the physical structure. The ego rises out of the structure of the psyche. [...]

[...] It is a part of the action of your being and consciousness, but as the eye cannot see its own shifting colors and expressions, as it is not aware that it lives and dies constantly as its atomic structure changes, so you are not aware that the ego continually changes, dies, and is reborn.

[...] All of this does not mean that personalities within other systems do not construct their own kind of time structures, but in all of these cases the personalities realize quite well that the structures are adapted for the sake of organization of experience.

The well-advanced personality then is aware of nontime, but can use the time illusions of others and can enter the particular camouflage structures. [...]

Now your time, your past, present and future, as you conceive of them, would be experienced entirely as present to many of these other personality structures. However your past, present and future would be experienced entirely and completely as past, to still other personality structures.

[...] Your idea of space and time then is definitely determined by your neurological structure.

There is no such lapse in many other personality structures. [...]

(Pause.) As these units approach physical structure, however, they do slow down in your terms. [...] These units form what you think of as the mind, around which the structure of the brain is formulated. [...]

Yet the units of consciousness, being independent of space and time, form your cellular structure, and that structure deals in a most basic manner with the nature of probabilities. [...]

These psychological structures obviously act as stabilizing platforms, so to speak, from which energy can view itself. The psychological frameworks simply are various organizational structures that are equipped to perceive reality discriminately.

[...] It is extremely difficult for a psychological structure to view itself, for in order to do so it must lift itself from the limitations and abilities of its own nature. In many realities such scrutiny is simply impossible, while the structure operates in a given fashion.

Gradually psychological structures are able to focus upon vaster areas, and in order to achieve proficiency in this manner you do indeed begin to build up layered selves that have been independent identities. These varying perceptive abilities organize so that their perceptive powers are pooled in a gestalt that eventually forms a new identity, a more complicated psychological structure that is capable of perceiving larger areas of reality.

Your genetic structure reacts to each thought that you have, to the state of your emotions, to your psychological climate. [...] You choose your genetic structure so that it suits the challenges and capabilities of the species. You choose your genetic structure so that it suits the challenges and potentials that you have chosen. [...]

[...] The information is alive (intently). We are speaking about a kind of biological cuneiform, in which the structures, the very physical structures, of the cells contain all of the knowledge needed to form a physical body—to form themselves. [...]

It is literally impossible for you, and it is a logistic contradiction to imagine, with your physical structures, that any perception can be received unless the perceiver’s own inner situation is altered. I am trying to make it as clear as possible that information automatically blends with, is intermingled with, and enmeshed with, the entire (pause), physically-valid (hyphen) structure of the personality.

[...] The information then, like any perception, becomes a part of the nervous system’s structure. [...]

[...] In your terms, physically, that is what perception is—an alteration of neurological structure. [...]

First sentence: Your reality exists independently of your physically oriented consciousness, but while you are a creature your awareness must be interpreted through your neurological structure and your corporeal aliveness. [...]

Egotistically you make arbitrary designations of necessity, perceiving only portions of any given action; again, the ego attempting to separate itself from overall action, and to see itself as an entirely independent structure.
