“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

Something takes an inordinate amount of time. They fidget, stew. I do not know if they stew or if they eat stew, you see.

(As we got ready for lunch I told Jane that this morning I’d awakened stewing again—about Jane, but mostly about the long delays involved in getting the Blue Cross—major medical insurance benefits straightened out. [...]

[...] I’d been concerned about my stewing over insurance, for I didn’t want to draw negative probabilities to us. [...]

(Pause.) Ruburt let his guard down ever so slightly, stopped stewing ever so slightly. [...]

[...] Earlier caught myself stewing over my windows new room being accessible that is, noticeable; then cleared that up saying that Frank, etc., will be gone; phone book won’t have address; winter coming—but if I have to, I’ll lock the screen door or put up a note working hours no guests; but anyhow I’ll make conscious decisions and take steps. Now those beliefs separate man from his own nature.¹ He cannot trust himself — for who can rely upon the accidental bubblings of hormones and chemicals that somehow form a stew called consciousness (louder and quite ironic) — an unsavory brew at best, so the field of science will forever escape opening up into any great vision of the meaning of life.
