Teaching has been my main object, but I have not always been a teacher. I was a spice merchant at one time. A round and fat and heavy spice merchant.

We brought spices to Denmark; we had delightful trips indeed. We explored far down the coast of Africa. I was quite a gourmet.

In the second session, while still speaking to us through the personality of Frank Watts, Seth told us he had been a merchant who dealt in spices. [...]

(According to Seth, the three of us were involved in Denmark in the 1600’s. I was a landowner, Jane was my son, and Seth was a spice merchant. [...]
