Seth discusses some “species of consciousness,” starting at 11:08 in Session 692, Volume 1.

I also intend, and had intended this evening, to go into the causes behind the difference with which various physical individuals and species manage to make their physical forms endure, as far as continuity in your time is concerned. [...]

If you could be more aware of the manner in which other species view physical objects, you would easily see the great difference existing between various constructions of what you think of as one physical object.

As a species you could just as easily have smelled color rather than viewed it, you see. [...]

You have heard terms like “The Brotherhood of Man,” or, as Ruburt might say, “The Brother-Womanhood of Women” (humorously). But at any given time, in your terms — at any given time — the population of the earth is made up of counterparts … and so when you kill an enemy, you are killing a version of yourself … For as you are members of a physical species, you are also members of a psychic kind of counterpart reality; and this membership straddles races or countries, or states or politics.
