Both the nightmare experience and the dream were partially triggered by our last session (on March 4), of course, and served to show Ruburt why he had begun to cut down on some (underlined) of his own psychic experience, inspiration, and expression—a policy reflected in the repressed nature of bodily expression. I am telling him that my forecast (in the deleted session for August 1, 1977) did take place, although the eyes’ alterations showed in spasmodic excellent behavior, rather than as steady better behavior. [...]

(To our surprise, we received the tape of the 170th session back from Dr. Instream on July 29th, Thursday. [...] We noticed the tape had been transferred to a new reel, so took it for granted that Dr. Instream had played the tape, as stated by Seth in the 173rd session of July 28th. [...]

(In the 166th session, which John Bradley witnessed, Seth stated that the stock of John’s company, G. D. Searle, would go very low before making a recovery presumably. [...]

(The session tonight was held in our back room, and was again a quiet one. [...]

[...] We will have some sessions dealing with dream therapy. [...]

(John Bradley was a witness to the session, and had some questions about his job with Searle, and events within the company. However John gave Jane no details before the session, merely stating that he would like to know what was happening.)
