Ruburt’s body is completely reorienting itself according to his new beliefs, so remind him not to become impatient.

Some of the material (in this session) on pain should help clear Ruburt’s mind, but the past week’s blue periods and so forth simply represented one more example of a situation in which he tried to make himself get better by “realizing the gravity of his condition”—by contrasting his performance against “normal” performance, and by the old beliefs of not trusting the body. Ruburt is connected with me in that manner. [...] Yet I retain my identity, the ant retains its identity, and Ruburt retains his.¹² But one could not exist without the other two — for in greater terms the reality of any one of the three presupposes the existence of the others.

[...] As “Unknown” Reality is being produced Ruburt and Joseph are having their own experiences, and uncovering the nature of the unknown reality as it applies to them.

His [Ruburt’s] students are important, for as he is translating from the library, they are also translating.
