As yourself, you were the observer of the conflict, which took place at the table where Ruburt’s conversations with you took place, and his conversations with Tam over the telephone. [...]

They have been conservative in many ways—but neither have they exploited Ruburt’s abilities, and neither have they made any attempt to tamper with the message, and some houses would have. [...]

You certainly frightened our rabbit Ruburt this evening. [...]

Ruburt might benefit from sketching, as he planned. [...]

[...] It is not Mark, necessarily, only that the unobtrusive but frequent, informal exchange between you and Ruburt and a close friend from the outside world has been lacking. [...]

With Ruburt rising in the night, sometimes you vaguely worried whether or not he could navigate properly and sometimes when you are out of the house you also wonder: is he safe alone? Your dream brought your fears to the surface of your mind, and when those fears became conscious both of you determined to show yourselves that Ruburt was indeed safe and protected. [...]

True questioning and true use of the critical faculties will always lead Ruburt, to intuitional truths, so there is no reason to fear them. [...]

[...] An excellent example presents itself in the manner that Ruburt utilizes intellectual and intuitional knowledge in his poetry. [...]

[...] As Ruburt thrusts ahead, trusting his ability in his poetry, so he should in his psychic work, and now in vigorous physical activity. [...]

We will resume dictation, and the following session should be particularly taken to heart by Ruburt (intently).

The session should, on its own, clear up some of Ruburt’s difficulties and increase his pleasures.

[...] Ruburt’s confidence is the big factor. This restriction to home grounds is a very temporary one, and later Ruburt can deal with objects at a greater distance.

(Seth slipped in some personal material on Walter Zeh before “Ruburt catches me in the act.” [...]

First of all, it is because Ruburt was relaxed and open to his impulses that you have today’s information. [...]

[...] Had you been relaxed, following your impulses, and unhampered by the fearful beliefs that your friend’s condition also aroused, then those cellular messages would have been smoothly translated into an impulse to call Leonard, or to have Ruburt call. [...]

Ruburt actually followed through for you—not realizing this consciously, by finally calling Leonard this morning, when he discovered that Leonard had been feeling poorly, off and on during the same time that you had your difficulties, and that Leonard was looking for someone to do an errand (buy a thermometer). (11:10.) There should be considerable improved functioning noticeable in Ruburt’s body—some considerable lack of habitual restraint in motion occurring, say, as affairs now stand, anywhere from now to a week or ten days.

[...] Ruburt should try for more substantial snacks in the evening, and the out-of-body ideas as applied to Peggy Gallagher are good. [...]

(4:27.) Now, you can indeed expect further improvements with Ruburt’s eyes and sight. [...] The massage that you gave Ruburt briefly this afternoon, in the neck areas, is extremely beneficial—not only to his entire condition, but specifically beneficial to his sight. [...]

You are both doing very well, and Ruburt’s dream—the one in which he looked at his face in a mirror—was excellent, and already shows a change of belief that will be most beneficial. [...]

[...] The love travels in both directions, however, so that as you touch Ruburt’s body his love for you is also transmitted to you, even as your love is transmitted to him —so you are dealing with a very basic and vital kind of communication. [...]

(11:42.) Now Ruburt has been concentrating upon the symptoms, imagining this or that, often not responding to the moment as it is, but to imagined future events and moments filled with threat or difficulty. [...]
