(I do want to note, however, that I met Dr. Jeff Karder as I walked down the hall from the emergency room today, on my way to climb the stairs to 330. He asked how Jane was, asked about her work, and books, and commented quite positively on her recovery from the recent infection and fever. “She’s very resilient, isn’t she?” he said, and I could tell that he was very pleasantly surprised and pleased at Jane’s performance. “My wife is an extremely strong-willed person,” I said, and Jeff agreed. He said he’d be up to see her, but is keeping tabs on her through records.
(Jane was pleased to hear my account of the meeting. “I’ll bet I can use that, about the resiliency,” she said, meaning that she’d incorporate it in suggestions, attitude, and so forth. Both of us were pleased that the incident had taken place.
(I meant to add in the opening notes that Jane’s resiliency was proving a learning experience for Jeff Karder as well as for her and me.)

Ideally, the body would always right itself after such lapses from exuberant health—but even those lapses often exercise that resiliency. Maintaining that resiliency, then, is the important issue.
[...]
Generally drugs impede that resiliency.
[...]
The individual may realize that his or her pace has been too fast, and so natural feelings bring about a lethargy of body, or a slight fever, or an indisposition—all quite natural, resilient activities.
[...]
[...]
The body’s resiliency gave you the breathing space that you needed, and would not take consciously.
[...]
Now: you can depress the body and the mind through certain drugs, destroying that great natural resiliency.

Joy and the spontaneous expression of it will always bring increased strength and resiliency to the personality.
[...]
The expression of joy also makes the ego more resilient, less fearful, less resentful of diverse conditions when they occur.
[...]
[...]
Emotions demand resiliency, and resiliency is both the result of spontaneity, inner assurance, and discipline.
[...]
It is indeed more fluid and resilient than the ego.
[...]
[...]
The various portions of this whole self reach outward and inward with much more resilience than most.

Practically speaking however, muscles suddenly released from tension need first to simply relax and gain strength, and resiliency, practically.

His body is resilient, and it is responsive, or it would not be reacting so agreeably and definitely to your new suggestions and its activities. The very changes are proof of its powers of recuperation and resiliency.

At this rate, it will not be long before the muscular activity makes Ruburt’s walking operationally better, for the muscles are incredibly strong and resilient, despite restraints they had been held in.

The possibility of creative change must always be present to insure the species’ resiliency, and that resiliency can show in many ways—in conditions that you consider deformities, disabilities from birth, or in any physical variation from a hypothetical physical norm.

It is amazingly resilient, in that according to the belief structures of any given historical period, it can orient itself along the lines of those beliefs, using all of its reasoning abilities to bring such a world picture into focus, collecting data that agree, and rejecting what does not.
