Now: Myths are natural phenomena, rising from the psyche of man as surely as giant mountain ranges emerge from the physical planet.

Your consciousness must be focused at one particular range of frequencies before it can even perceive matter, much less solidity. In sleep your consciousness fluctuates between ranges of intensities, literally flowing into and out of the physical-matter grouping, and forming from more plastic “pre-matter” (with a hyphen) stages, the final shape that matter will take in your world.

He sensed these cousins of consciousness in one way or another—these environments that seemed real but not real, these further extensions of possible experience, and he decided that he must be very cautious: he must be prudent (long pause), he must take his time, he must range but carefully—and certainly to some extent such feelings cut down upon his spontaneity.

You recall however that individuals receive in certain electromagnetic patterns, or pattern ranges, far better than they do in others. Some individuals therefore will simply not telepathically receive the dominating reality assumptions, but will be tuned to different ranges, highly unsatisfactory to them.
[...]
Barriers are cut away, and once you become used to receiving within a larger range you will be able to do so in your future. These ranges, once opened up, then do not entirely close up to you.

On other terms psychedelic experience, with or without drugs of course, enlarges the range of electromagnetic realities that you perceive.

Because there is more freedom from time and space in the dream state, there is greater overall perspective; many solutions that may appear poor in the short range — as they are physically activated — will in the longer range be seen as highly creative.

This correlation between the layers of the subconscious and temperature ranges is true, or rather observable, only when the personality is in an inactive state. Suggestions of motion or excitement given to it would change and affect the temperature reading, so that this characteristic temperature range could be unnoticed.
It should be noted however, that with the exception of several other circumstances the various levels of the subconscious can be found to fall within definite temperature ranges.
