In the way that I have mentioned earlier, in that the emotional atmosphere, the psychological climate, is coming through once again, and we will be clearer.

(The following recent notes are from Jane’s psychological time notebook.

Once more, your own inner psychological experiences, and the inner life of every individual, can lead you to some understanding along these lines. [...]

I would also suggest Joseph, that will all due respects, that within your crowded schedule you find time now and then for your psychological time experiments. [...]

[...] As mentioned (in Chapter One), the ego, while a portion of the whole self, can be defined as a psychological “structure,” composed of characteristics belonging to the personality as a whole, organized together to form a surface identity.

[...] Due to the organizing structure of your own psychological nature, similar beliefs congregate, and you will readily accept those with which you already agree.

Now: People who live in tornado country carry the reality of a tornado in their minds and hearts as a psychological background.

You are, I hope, coming toward a time of greater psychological synthesis, so that the intuitions and reasoning abilities work together in a much more smooth fashion, so that emotional and intuitive knowledge regarding the meaningfulness of life can find clearer precision and expression, as the intellect is taught—as the intellect is taught—to use its faculties in a far less restricted manner.

[...] The true motion of the species, however, has always been psychological, or psychic if you prefer, involving the exploration of ideas. [...]

[...] And muscles can cause a sinking sensation that is quite natural, and a beneficial sign that should be psychologically interpreted as such.

[...] As a sideline here, there are some interesting episodes, not at all understood, when a severe psychological shock, or even a deep sense of unendurable futility, will cause a short circuit, so to speak, so that one portion of the self becomes aware, and begins to experience reality as it exists for another portion of the self.

(10:01.) The memory, left alone, not structured, will shimmer, shake, take other forms, and transform itself before your [mental] eyes, so that its shape will seem like a psychological kaleidoscope through whose focus the other events of your life will also shimmer and change. [...]

[...] Now Seth went into the more personal Part 2 of the session, explaining how in her own case Jane could give her past self in this life her current knowledge, so that through the resulting “psychological synthesis” she would be better equipped to handle certain challenges.
