Seth also said that he would outline a program designed to change Sally’s own expectations, and also suggested treatment by an accredited hypnotist who could instill positive suggestions to rouse her will to live.

Seth offers some evocative suggestions as to how dreams can be used as direct therapy, and some of his concepts could be of great aid in self-help programs and in psychotherapy.

Still, it would seem to be almost impossible to do without inoculation programs in our society — they’re such a strong part of our national and private medical belief systems. [...]

It is unfortunate that I must use terms of time to explain all of this to you, but as I told you many sessions ago, my time is not your time (humorously) … Because you ask specific questions at a specific session, it does not necessarily mean that the program has not been prepared, in your terms, earlier.
