(This material is free-association stuff, following Seth’s suggestion in the private session for Jane on May 15. [...]

2. I’m presenting the private portion of tonight’s session for two reasons: Seth comments a bit upon the creative production of the sessions, and he shows how we can habitually impose upon our physical selves our conscious ideas of what we “should be doing”—not paying enough attention to our impulsive, natural, bodily messages.

Now: a private session.

[...] The energy that I would put into sessions has gone into some private talks to him while he slept. [...]

You can all learn to use this initial state of altered consciousness, and we will be dealing with it often in class, but you will each be dealing with it in your private lives. [...]

(10:01.) There are more worlds than you suppose, and in your own private experience each of you contributes to the world that you know. [...]

[...] And as you will see, those impulses of a private nature are nevertheless also based upon the greater situation of the species and the planet, so that “ideally” the fulfillment of the individual would automatically lead to the better good of the species.

[...] When you reinstate the library, that reinstatement will represent other certain stages in your private and joint states of consciousness and intent.

[...] “With our ideas, however, there are no props available, just waiting to be used, no organizations that personify or represent the core of our beliefs—only the individual more or less stubbornly interacting with a private universe, trying to establish this new beachhead.”

(Elements of the creed would consider whether she should have these sessions, whether they should be public or merely private, whether they should be published now or later, or never, etc. [...]

[...] Some goodies are private as far as all of you are concerned and you would not want them bandied about. [...]

At their strongest, such experiences can propel intuitive knowledge from the private domain to change civilization. [...]

[...] You have your private hallucinations now, only you do not realize what they are. [...]

[...] Each physical experience is unique, and while the energy for it and the creation of it come from within, the pristine, private, and yet shared quality of that experience could not exist in the same way (more emphatically) were it not so exteriorized.

[...] (Pause.) So in a state of illumination private cellular memory may be animated, and beyond this, a deeper level of knowing in which your own birth and death may or may not be explained.

[...] Those involved have an excellent knowledge of their own backgrounds and histories, of course, but in this state possess also a much larger perspective, in which private and historical backgrounds are seen as a portion of a greater perceivable whole.

[...] We finally decided to classify these sessions as private, or at least as not being work for Mass Events. [...]
