“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Since we wanted Seth to discuss this prediction, this gave us the idea of checking up on some other recent session material. [...]

[...] While visiting us on the second day of my illness, John said that events transpiring within the drug firm he represents, Searle, appear to bear out predictions made by Seth some time ago. Seth had mentioned a time limit of several years for some of these predictions to work themselves out, and counseled patience on John’s part. [...]

(As predicted by Seth in the 420th session for July 1, 1968, Prentice-Hall is to publish the first book on the Seth material. [...]

(Seth did make a prediction: Jane will write an excellent book about the class sessions, and this will lead many to read the regular Seth material. [...]

(The good news data refers to Seth’s prediction of same in the 520th session for March 25, 1970: “I believe there is also some good news for you that you do not expect.” [...]

(Seth gave data on Peggy’s trip in the 214th and the 215th sessions, December 6 and 8. He also gave some preliminary data on the trip during an unscheduled session held on December 3; Peggy took a copy of these predictions with her to Washington. Seth listed nine predictions and Peggy verified three of them. [...]

(“You will meet a man you do not like” is one of the advance predictions given Peggy by Seth during the unscheduled session of December 3. Jane and I have wondered what part suggestion might play in such a case. [...]

(This is, also, one of Seth’s predictions given during the unscheduled session of December 3, before Peggy left for Washington.)

The psychologist believed most heartily in his theory of mental disintegration with age, and he set out to prove that he was right, bringing about self-predictive difficulties. [...]

It was invented by the ego to protect the ego, because of the mistaken conception of dual existence; that is, because man felt that a predictable, conscious self did the thinking and manipulating, and an unpredictable self did the breathing and dreaming. He set up boundaries to protect the ‘predictable’ self from the ‘unpredictable’ self and ended up by cutting the whole self in half.

The world in those terms (pause) is as much the result of unpredictable behavior, unforeseen events, unexpected benefits, unforeseeable conditions, as it is the result of predictable actions, usual cause-and-effect phenomena (pause), and a close inspection of public and private life would show quite clearly that both are magnificently touched by significant coincidences. [...]

[...] Since this was Monday, and any possible event was predicted for a Tuesday, Jane decided to try again to reach the Gallaghers. [...]

[...] Some predictions concerning them will be found in the 63rd session for June 17, 1964.

[...] I did not ask for predictions and none were volunteered. [...]

[...] He told himself that the prediction might be wrong, and he began with his intellect to pile up evidence that could in one way or another bring about a different, more beneficial experience. [...]

[...] For now it is sufficient to realize that specific steps, definite alterations, occur as consciousness is shifted from the exterior to the interior reality, and that these changes are not random; that consciousness leaves through a very predictable route to its many destinations. [...]

(In my original and unpublished notes in Session 520 in Seth Speaks I listed three chances for the fruition of Seth’s prediction: The mention in Cosmopolitan of Jane’s ESP book for April 1970; Tam’s news about New American Library being very interested in the Seth material book; or Jane’s contract for the dream book being in the mail from Prentice-Hall.)
