I do not speak to you, in your terms, because you find it so difficult to understand or experience the reality of creativity and so all personalities, in whatever their sphere of activity, are involved in the nature of creativity. They may be personalities new to the system, new for that matter (humorously) to any ideas, completely unused to conceptual thought or vision, beings only now emerging into strong individuality. [...]

The larger pattern of human personhood demands a bisexual affiliation that allows leeway in sexual encounters, a leeway that provides a framework in which individuals can express feelings, abilities, and characteristics that follow the natural inclines of the personal psyche rather than sexual stereotypes. (Long pause.) Give us a moment… In almost all such cases involving cancer, spiritual and psychic growth is being denied, or the individual feels that he or she can no longer grow properly in personal, psychic, terms. [...]

Ruburt once received a few interesting pages from a world view, in which the author spoke, in archaic terms, of being a person who was a “life-taster,” sent by God to taste the quality of man’s experience, so that God might know what new ingredients might be added.

People felt depersonalized beneath labels, so that they were told: “Oh, yes, you are a victim of ulcers, or anxiety attacks, or whatever,” while the very personal suffering portion of their beings was ignored. [...]

[...] You should also remember that each person is also immersed in Framework 2. The good intent and the creativity that individuals may at times be unable to express adequately, still exists and enriches the psychological atmosphere.

Now in close marriages or those of long duration, there is a kind of superimposed family personality, a composite, to which each member contributes, and to which all members respond. [...]

[...] As the books became more popular, you were suddenly threatened in terms of privacy, of exposure personally—and perhaps, Ruburt felt, being forced one way or another into that other world in which, after all, the two of you did not belong.
