[...] You cannot divide, say, mental and physical health, nor can you divide a person’s philosophy from his bodily condition.

[...] I knew that each person I saw had free will, and yet each motion was inevitable and somehow there was no contradiction. I could look at each person and sense his or her ‘model’ and all the variations, and see how the model was here and now in the person. [...]

[...] Each person who passes the car is more than three-dimensional, super-real in this time, but part of a ‘model’ of a greater self … and each person’s reality is obviously and clearly more than three-dimensional. [...]

(Long pause, eyes closed, at 10:56.) Each person is at his place or her place. [...] The entire focus of his personality now accepts the validity of many worlds — and this means in practical terms.

[...] Some of you are embarked upon adventures that deal with intimate family contact, deep personal involvement with children, or with other careers that meet “vertically” with physical experience. [...]

[...] At this writing I think it’s been well over a year since I’ve heard that very complicated personality. [...]

[...] Then not long before the session was due she became aware to some extent of her pyramid sensation, meaning that Seth Two, or possibly a variation of that personality gestalt, was around. [...]

[...] “I’m getting the feeling of a whole lot of beings or personalities way behind my head,” Jane said as she sat in her Kennedy rocker. [...]

(9:40.) That k-n-o-w-e-r (spelled) is instantly aware of all your needs, and is the portion of the universe that is personally disposed in your direction, because its energies form your own person. [...]

[...] These represent the greater source-selves out of which your present persons spring. [...]

[...] It is true that reading and writing have certain advantages over such procedures, but it is also true that knowledge possessed in that old fashion became a part of a man, and a society, in a much more personal, meaningful manner. [...]

[...] It’s an excellent point, I said, that in her ability to tap into a seemingly endless amount of Seth material, she strikes a parallel with early man and his capacity to carry all personal, cultural, and historical information within himself. [...]

(In the 82nd session, which was held on the evening of August 27, 1964, Seth said: “When man realizes that he, himself, creates his personal and universal environment in concrete terms, then he can begin to create a private and universal environment much superior to the [present] one, that is the result of haphazard and unenlightened constructions.

As far as we can see, Seth’s reincarnational, counterpart, and probable selves, and his families of consciousness, suggest the varied, complicated structure of human personality — and hint of the invisible psychological thickness that fills out the physical event of the self in time.

[...] I wanted to show the ever-widening vital reactions that Seth’s dictation of “Unknown” Reality had on our personal lives, and how those effects rippled outward. [...]

[...] I believe that thick, sprawling works like “Unknown” Reality offer some important answers, but beyond that it’s up to the multidimensional, multitudinous, over four billion multinational individuals on this planet to follow their own intuitions and seek answers in their personal ways. [...]

THE NATURAL PERSON AND THE NATURAL USE OF TIME.

[...] There are certain sessions I’ve labelled ‘fill-in’ sessions in my mind for some time now, or thought of them as covering ‘floating material.’ They aren’t book sessions or specifically personal ones. [...]

[...] Later, I will have some things to say about what I will call “the daily hypothesis,” for each person has such a daily hypothesis — one that might be quite different for, say, Friday than it is for Monday. [...]

[...] The nightly portions of your personalities have become strangers to you — for as you identify with what you think of as your rational intellect, then you identify it further with the daytime hours, with the objective world that becomes visible in the morning, with the clearcut physical objects that are then before your view.

[...] There will be, however, a characteristic way of dying that will be adapted by different personalities. The ego may be strong enough to hold the whole personality back. [...]

[...] When these classes in this room are in progression, other portions of your own personality are attending other classes. [...]

[...] It is the overall consciousness composed of the atoms and molecules within the physical structure and when the main personality has gone its way, this simple consciousness may persist for some time. [...]

Human personality entails more than three dimensions. [...] This is a portion of your personality that speaks to you in your dreams. [...]

[...] You have a whole self, a multidimensional self of which your present personality is a small part. [...]

Then you can reach out, you can feel the reality of other personalities. [...]

[...] One portion of himself is a character, male, with bound hands, and Ruburt must help this person over barriers, of course because his hands are tied symbolically behind his back.

(9:20.) Ruburt, however, objects, and that Ruburt represents the portion of the personality who is still clinging to old beliefs, but losing its leadership. [...]

Such behavior, of course, operates in any condition, from the overweight person to the alcoholic, for each individual forms his own reality, and yet does so unconsciously knowing the needs and beliefs of others.

[...] Now you are ready for a further development in your abilities and two steps at that image will help you for there is a highly dependable personality, and we will not argue over the terms, in approximately that area that, in your terms is a composite of Bill and someone else. A growth of Bill, if you prefer, and that can be your personal key to contact. [...]

[...] This is merely a beginning of courses in which you will become involved and you will meet your selves in those other levels of actuality as on several occasions you seem to meet yourselves in reincarnational situations in this room, so that you will be able to relate not only to the physical individual in this space and in this time and in this room, but also able to relate to other portions of your personality, in your terms, that existed in the past or will exist in the future. [...]

[...] My personal thought was that our expectations concerning the house had been in the process of change, the loss of the loan being the natural culmination of this.

[...] Expectation, perhaps more than any other quality, characterizes the individual, and represents the innermost aspects of his personality. [...]

[...] Expectation is somewhat influenced also by past existences, and yet not enough to be binding upon the present personality.

[...] This is put very simply and yet there is nothing, in practical terms, more valid, since expectation has behind it the motivating force of the personality, and utilizes on a subconscious level strong abilities and comprehensions.

[...] If you were from a foreign land and asked one person to give you a description of New York City, you might take his or her description for reality. The person might say “New York City is a frightful place in which crime is rampant, gangs roam the streets, murders and rapes are the norm, and people are not only impolite but ready to attack you at a moment’s notice. [...]

[...] The sound was like a supervoice; maybe like Nature speaking, or something, not the way a person would speak.”)

(Pause, one of many, at 9:49.) There are levels within dreams, highly pertinent but mainly personal, in that they reflect your own private intents and purposes. [...]

One person might be able to give you the city’s precise location in terms of latitude and longitude. [...]

“— and we’re speaking of personality now,” Jane said, coughing again. “As the seed falls, blown by the wind in any environment, so there’s a seed of personality that rides on the wings of itself and falls into the worlds of many times and places. [...]

[...] In accidental ways that would be quite humorous if they weren’t so personal, we’ve also learned what negative ideas others can have about us: A person will inadvertently reveal to us, during a conversation, or in a letter or over the telephone, the unflattering opinions his or her mate, or parents, or friends, really have of Jane and me and the work we’re engaged in with the Seth material.

[...] “What I’m getting is a fantastic sound that’s imprisoned in a crystal, that speaks through light, that’s the essence of personality. [...]

[...] Hanging up, he closed his eyes and imagined energy being sent out from a universal source through his own body, and directed toward the person in need. [...] He felt that this extension was composed of energy, and it seemed so strong that a person could walk upon it without difficulty. [...]

In one way, on one level, such a personality seems to be operating “blind,” while in another it is aware of its accomplishments and challenges. Often a situation of unbalance is set up that would not exist had the personality not accepted the challenges and, hence, the potentials for an even greater development.

The more prosaic elements of the personality then take whatever measures seem necessary at the time, while new orientation is tried out. [...] In one way or another, however, they still provide a framework in which the personality feels itself free to pursue its goals. [...]

[...] Your personal cluster of probable realities surrounds you, again, on a cellular basis, and biologically your physical body steers its own line, finding its balance operating in a cluster of probabilities while maintaining the focus that is your own. [...]

“Another great dream of Rob’s. In our sessions lately Seth has been talking about the natural self or natural person, saying that it is also the magical person. [...] At dream’s end Rob says that the head was almost too youthful for the body he’d drawn — maybe a reminder that the natural person is younger in ways than the intellectual self. [...]

[...] I speculated about the reactions of public personalities when their predictions don’t work out. [...]

[...] In the position in which your culture places the intellect, it does (underlined) see itself quite alone, separated both from other portions of the personality, from other creatures, and from nature itself. [...]

First of all, if you realize that the intellect itself is a part of nature, a part of the natural person, a part of magical processes, then you need not overstrain it, force it to feel isolated, or put it in a position in which paranoid tendencies develop. [...]

What sin did the poor person or the sick person commit? [...]

Let us pursue this subject further as it involves you personally at those levels in which you live your lives and intermix with others.

Such a person might imagine his or her anger or fury filling up the inside of a gigantic balloon that is then pricked by a needle, exploding in pieces from the pressure within, with debris falling everywhere — out over the ocean, or caught up by the wind, but in any case dispersed in whatever way seems agreeable to the patient.

[...] If the person is mourning the death of a spouse or close family member, then it would be most beneficial for the individual or the family to purchase, or otherwise provide, a new small pet. [...]

The rearousal of love might well activate Framework 2 to such an extent that the healing energies become unblocked, and send their threads of probable actions into the person’s living situation as well — that is, once the channels to Framework 2 are open, then new possibilities immediately open up in all of life’s living areas. [...]

[...] There is much written about the nature of healing, and there will be material in this book dealing with it, but there is also healing-in-reverse, in which case an individual loses a belief in his or her health and accepts instead the idea of personal illness.

[...] In such a case belief would also be involved: Such a person would have to believe that an unhealthy condition was the best way to serve another purpose.

Other means would seem closed to him because of various personal beliefs that would form a vacuum in his experience — that is, he would see no other way, perhaps, to achieve the same end. [...]

This was a warning given by the personality himself. [...]

[...] There are simply not that many personalities anxious for physical existence. [...]

[...] Mathilda was a very nice person in many ways, despite the family relationships. [...]
