3. Check (once again) the 648th session in Chapter 12 of Personal Reality — especially Jane’s own material there at 11:30.

[...] If you gained your sense of personal continuity through associative processes primarily, rather than as a result of the familiarity of self moving through time, then you would experience physical reality in an entirely different fashion. [...]

[...] But more than this, why not call all actions of the brain “altered” when compared to Seth’s concept of the individual personality’s whole self or entity?¹

[...] These dreams have been operating as a series, as Jane has pointed out, which increases the value of a person’s dreams in unexpected ways. [...]

[...] You cannot rate the subjective growth of a personality, lines of comprehension, or the value of ideas given to the world. [...]

[...] The persons involved were good friends indeed in a past life. [...]

Your Mr. Fell is indeed a different sort of personality than yourself, Joseph, but his omissions are not deliberate. [...]

There were wars before, and threats and disasters, but people in countries that were safe were not daily confronted with those other realities, so consciousness has taken upon itself this additional opportunity and burden, in that each person, largely speaking, is far more aware of events in other corners of the world—natives in deepest bush country have transistors.

The idea of survival reaches far beyond this life experience, and each person has new physical and spiritual existences ever ready — for there is no such thing as extinction. [...]

(Jane’s delivery for Seth hadn’t been her fastest by any means, although that “energy personality essence” closed out the paragraph above quite intently and with more than a little amusement. [...]

[...] Some were socially oriented, enjoying a kind of comradeship that would find, for example, television’s impersonal communications a mockery of the give-and-take that they enjoyed in personal contacts.

[...] If at the same time you seemed overly critical—to him, now—of a manuscript, say, or his missing sessions, then it seemed approval was denied him from the one person whose integrity he trusted.
