“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Going through the mail was rewarding, though — for in various letters I found checks adding up to more than $375. We are both grateful and touched. Now when a batch of mail arrives I have to open the letters at once to see if money has been sent. Otherwise the letters may lay there for some time before I investigate them. I used to keep them unopened until I picked them up to answer. A California resident called Maude Cardwell in Texas, to tell her that he has our permission to market the audio tapes of Jane’s ESP class, which ended in 1975. We haven’t given anyone permission to do that, so I’ll have to investigate the whole thing.)

In this dream, you are given permission by a somewhat elevated authority to go faster than the other people along Water Street. [...] The question is why, of course; if you have been given permission to go faster, then why have you and Ruburt not covered the physical ground faster, or why do you still have problems? Since you have been given such permission, why have you not learned faster?

(10:58.) The answer of course is that the permission you were given to go “faster” applied to a completely different dimension of motion and activity. [...]

(During break I wondered aloud if Seth had to communicate with his entity before getting permission to speak. I did not really mean to use the word permission, meaning instead whether there had to be any sort of understanding or agreement between the two personalities as to who would hold the session, or at least begin it. Always with Ruburt’s permission, and for that matter indirectly with your permission, for if Ruburt sensed you were against such a circumstance he would not give permission. [...]

Here Seth probably referred to material that Jane and I recently came across concerning the views of a “radical” philosophy of change: Violence is permissible in order to bring about a revolution which, in turn, would lead to a new age. [...] With some amusement we also considered the reactions of such radicals should they ever find themselves personally threatened or assaulted through the very “permissible” violence they advocate.

Because of this role, adopted rather early on both of your parts in your married life, and because of his dim, distorted and hidden perception of it, he was vastly astonished at your permissive attitude when our sessions began.

He mistrusted your permissiveness then. [...]
