(Thinking this point over after Monday’s session, I did not recall Willy making any fuss, except for the one time detailed on page 211, during the session.)

I am enthusiastic still, over the accomplishments of our previous session.

For one thing, we ran over last time. [...]

[...] Jane was recommended to them by Ray Van Over; they wanted information on the death and attendant circumstances of their son Michael, who died last month at a little over 3 years of age.

[...] John is going to go over the session material, using his recorder, to sum up Seth’s predictions to date re Searle.

(To John:) I have not forgotten you over here. [...]

(Again to John, humorously:) Are you satisfied, over there in the corner?

[...] Now I’m getting something over there [to her left] that’s entirely disconnected from what I was getting two minutes ago over here. [...]

[...] “but before the session I was getting that Negro material over there [to her left] and the cave drawing stuff over there [to her right], and I had to wait for them to come together....”)

(Jane received her first intimation that something new might develop in the sessions when she was reading over last Wednesday’s session after supper tonight. [...]

[...] She was, however, worried somewhat about what control she would have over the material if, in the prone position, she was in a deeper trance.

[...] It is now quite a few days later as I type this material, and Jane and I have had time to think it over. [...]

(Jane moved over to the couch before the session resumed, and remained there once she began dictating again. [...]

[...] (Pause.) At the same time there are feelings that to relax would be to let go too much (louder)—slide into overly spontaneous behavior, to lack control over one’s life, to lose the observer’s fine focus. [...]

[...] In addition, it was obvious that the body hadn’t responded to those habitual suggestions over the years, so something else was needed. [...]

(Pause.) The rigidity that was a general characteristic is breaking up, you see, so that by contrast portions of his body do feel vulnerable to him—soft, unprotected—but those feelings were to a large degree covered over before. [...]

[...] Much of this appears in your pendulum work of late, but you both then project those ideas upon the world, so that you think of your readers as overly credulous, or of critics who are overly critical. [...]

(We’ve also talked over Seth’s answer in the last session about why the subconscious doesn’t back off when it’s obvious that it’s gone too far in a protective role, say. [...]

[...] He was afraid of wheelchair connotations, but he triumphed over that negative idea. [...]

[...] Over a period of several weeks, for example, he will have dealt with specific incidents and his reactions.

I do not know how you want to handle this, but the two of you should go over that page of feelings together. [...]

[...] Psychologically, they began when Ruburt became worried over two issues. [...]

(Then while on my back on bed with eyes closed, I looked up and saw myself standing up directly over me, with my feet seemingly upon my own chest. As I did so, my familiar thrilling sensation swept over me quite strongly.

[...] Since the session would be over in half an hour, she put a frying pan of chicken on the stove, on low heat, to warm up; it had been previously cooked.

[...] It began to smoke, and John left his chair to turn it over. [...]

[...] And it wasn’t until the session was over that I realized I had not been bothered by writer’s cramp at all; I believe this is the first such time.

[...] Jane looked them over again, although she’d read them this afternoon. [...]

(I would add that much of my present concern seemed to have been brought to a conscious focus by an even that took place last Saturday evening, when Jane spontaneiously asked the Bumbalos over for a drink. [...]

[...] Then Sue put her hand on Florence’s head, and Florence got up and they embraced, and it was over.... [...]

[...] Margaret Bumbalo had asked me over for a drink when I got home, but I was in no hurry. [...]

[...] The giant strides necessary involve striding across one’s concerns over impediments, and focusing upon ends. [...]

In the overall, then, violent shows provide a service, in that they usually promote the sense of a man’s or a woman’s individual power over a given set of circumstances. [...]

[...] Jane’s mother was to die within three months of our return home, mine over a year later (in November 1973).

Seth didn’t mention it in the session tonight, but Jane and I find it extremely interesting that just last week much national publicity was given to the ongoing two-year-old controversy among cancer specialists over whether women — especially those under 50 years of age — should be given routine mammograms (X-ray examinations) in efforts to detect breast cancer in its early stages.

Now, there’s much confusion on the part of women over whether to have mammograms. [...]
