This session has been very peaceful and pleasant, and I repeat: Some night we will have our party. Now that you have a recorder you can use it when we have our happy session and it will free you from taking notes.

[...] Our sessions will of course vary in many respects and this is to be expected. [...]

(As usual to begin we sat at the board, in our living room with the shades drawn and a soft light on, shielded somewhat from my view. At the appointed hour Jane and I touched our fingers to the board but did not ask any questions. [...]

[...] Our imaginary wires composed of solidified vitality are fluid, I hope you understand this, even while they are solidified. [...]

[...] Friends do not always talk of high and weighty matters, and at times when we have the energy left over from our philosophical dissertations, then let us now and then indulge in at least some pleasantries.

[...] Our guest recorded it all and is to send us a transcript [which he did]. 5. On our decision—R. finishes “Unknown” Reality—and later Psyche, maybe with my help?

This again concerns the nature of action, and I will in our next session begin to discuss the emotions as they are related to, and part of, action. [...]

[...] Part of your accomplishment lies in our sessions and your own considerable work with the notes, and with the invisible aura contained in those notes, for there in a different way you are painting a portrait—a portrait of two lives from a highly individualistic standpoint, extremely unique—and that is the kind of experience that would be ripped out of your life’s fabric, were you the hypothetical idealized version with whom you sometimes relate—a version highly romanticized, let me add. Your unconscious self is a strong portion of our sessions, and it was for this reason that Ruburt sensed this absence. [...]

(Although this is a private session that Jane and I are filing separately from “regular” material, we’re also presenting it in Mass Events because of the many insights Seth offers into individual and mass events in general, and into our personal realities in particular. In fact, without those qualities of ours that Seth touches upon this evening, I doubt that the Seth books — indeed, even the sessions themselves — would exist. [...]

[...] You’re very close-mouthed: You don’t blab our personal business, but you’d do that…. [...]

[...] The trees thrashed over our heads, and Jane’s nervousness finally infected me. [...] We had our dog Mischa with us. [...]

I did want to mention that the circulation of our books is definitely increasing, and will continue to do so.

[...] In our discussion afterward Jane said she responds to negative suggestions much more quickly and forcefully than she used to. [...]

Dictation: Now let us return again to our discussion of impulses, in connection with probable actions.

“If you will remember our imaginary man as he stands upon a street, you will recall that I spoke of his feeling all of the unitary essences of each living thing within his range, using the first Inner Sense. [...]

[...] I have seen to it that our friend Ruburt acts in such a way that this will not happen. [...]

[...] Seth had said that this was true only as long as we give up our misconceptions. [...]

I would like brandy but our friend does not like it. [...]

(A discussion ensued during the break centering about the above, the fact we create our realities, and the book The Magic of Believing [if you believe something you can do it] when Seth interjected the following.)

[...] We will still probably run over our usual time on some occasions, while during certain periods we may run somewhat less. [...] I may have more to say on your expanding universe next time, and there is still material on our next inner senses to be covered. [...]

I mentioned the other evening that we would also deal in practicalities, and that everything concerning our discussions did not have to be taken on faith alone.

[...] Before one of our regular sessions as you know Ruburt often becomes nervous. [...]

[...] When we are finally finished with our skeleton outline on the inner senses, then I will go into those that are the most important, basic and necessary. [...]

Such a book would be written during our sessions however, dictated by me, for our friend Ruburt would not let me inside his own writing hours.

There would be unity, of course, and this would take care of the organization of our material. [...]

[...] Jane’s pace had slowed considerably by now.) Ruburt could if he chose, add his own notes and comments, for his experience in our sessions is vastly different from mine. [...]

(Jane and I have talked to our landlord, Jimmy Spaziani, concerning the data given by Seth in the 100th session, concerning the missing cover to the thermostat in our apartment house. [...]

Our Ruburt has already put in quite a day.

We will either cut our friend down as to allotted time per day for a while, or we will not have him experiment alone in the apartment. [...]
