[...] Many individuals have experienced unusual, quite valid and intense expansions of consciousness, but found themselves unable to correlate the new knowledge with past beliefs, to make the changes necessary to handle the sensitivity. [...]

Your own creativity being applied in this new fashion will also show its results in your painting and writing, for it adds a new cast, not only to your understanding of creativity, but to its application.

Ruburt began the new program with a sense of determination and faith.

(Today is Day 3 of Jane’s new routine, following the session on February 1. She said she catches herself all the time getting off the track, then tries to remind herself of her new healthier goals — living in the moment, thinking positively, and so on.

[...] You were escaping from the jailhouse of negative beliefs, and you were delighted with the new easy motion of your body, once you had been released.

[...] New comprehensions are available at any time, new breakthroughs in any area, for those realities contain the sources of your world’s action.

[...] The search for knowledge would mean often that you would be between beliefs, operating as you had been taught through training, and trying to operate according to the new knowledge. [...]

[...] The question upset her, especially when I added that I was afraid Seth was repeating old material under a new term. In order to help Jane feel better, I speculated that he must have had his reasons for doing this, and that of course a certain amount of repetition is necessary in each book in a series: The restatements not only furnish a foundation for new material, but enable each book to be complete in itself. The next session showed us how different this new development could be. [...] More than this, however, it opened our eyes to new possibilities of experience and demonstrated yet another phenomenon that could occur within the session framework.

One night in April of 1968, we settled down for our usual Monday night session, unaware that anything new was about to happen. [...]

[...] As usual this new voice ended sentences on an unexpected upbeat, so that often a sentence was finished and a new one begun while I was writing without appropriate punctuation; then I would go back and add it in the proper places.

A note regarding your astronauts and their latest excursion: new developments involving the ionosphere have been made during this trip, and to your scientists unpleasant ones, since they do not conform to previous theories.

The children were also obviously involved, and the accident would give them a new lease on life, for they had sensed an overall pervading sense of despair that lay at the family’s center stone, so to speak.

[...] In perhaps a manner that appears strange, they will experience a new sense of their own validity, for if they were saved from death, then something—if only the fates—must have found them worthy. [...]

[...] She felt she knew the reasons for the improvement—her new commitment, sense of direction, etc., all parts of her “inside and outside,” she said. [...]

The inner senses to some extent will allow you to perceive the reality of inner existence, and Ruburt incidentally in this new development is involved with the use of these inner senses in a more effective manner than before. [...]

[...] (Smile.) He is using the new energy where he feels he needs it most, which is quite legitimate.

(In here, Jane again felt the surge of energy.) There are points of contact having nothing to do with time as you know it, that are extremely significant to all personalities, origins of new energy that are sometimes suddenly brought into existence because of the strong, latent psychic capacities within individual selves.

[...] They are not beginning new reincarnations, nor resting, nor going on to new realities. [...]

It is as if an artist finished a painting, and instead of going to a new one he does countless variations of the original, without realizing what he is doing. [...]

[...] Believing in the stereotyped idea of heaven can cause no harm, but a delay in facing up to new responsibilities. [...]

(My mother lives with my brother and his family in a small community in upstate New York, near Rochester, and Jane and I had spent the weekend visiting one and all. [...]
