“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Without necessarily expecting an answer this evening, I asked a question I thought Jane might want to consider if and when she wrote an introduction for this book: Could she dictate the whole book for Seth in, say, a month’s worth of daily sessions, or did she need a certain amount of day-by-day living and experience, over a period of months, perhaps, in order to be able to let the book come through?

[...] Some get through easier or quicker than others, and a belief in the need for protection has been the most stubborn lingering belief from Ruburt’s past in this life. [...]

[...] The cell does not need to be consciously aware of you in order to fulfill itself, even though your expectations of health largely influence its existence, but your recognition of the soul and entity can help you direct energies from these other dimensions into your daily life.

Good and evil then simply represented the birth of choices, initially in terms of survival, where earlier instinct alone had provided all that was needed. [...]

Ruburt experienced this in his psychological time experiment this afternoon, and it reminded me that more material definitely was needed here.

[...] It is not necessarily because he is receiving some hidden psychological benefit, or because the illness fulfills some need. [...]

[...] Then he began to learn the lessons that were needed — that life is expression, and that it is safe for him to move mentally and physically, using both his psychic, creative, mental and physical abilities to their fullest.

[...] And the need, so strongly implied, will also provide the answer and the means.

[...] He is given tasks and each room, again, has been planned so that within it all methods of learning are available that the guest will need to perform his task. [...]

[...] It wasn’t until Jane began coming through with the ideas embodied in the Seth material that I began to question my “need” for glasses. [...]

Living each day at a time, you respond to the present, and you need not in one day protect yourself from a lifetime of projected distractions or threats to your time that must, in your day, be imaginary, since they are probable events from the future.

Questions like “Are you lonesome?” certainly need not be not asked each day. [...]

(I have for some time thought that Jane needed to sell her writings as a means of justifying her life—whether these writings were her best work was, in that sense, immaterial; she couldn’t possibly wait until her writing was a polished art before beginning to market it. [...]

[...] A simple statement of fact, regardless of the reasons: Ruburt has a great but not neurotic need of expressions of love. [...]

Such concentrated periods of activity follow their own patterns and rhythms, and you need rest from them. [...]

A strong breakthrough was needed if the personality was to develop its potentials. [...]

[...] For example, because of this relationship, your experience need not be limited by the physical perceptive mechanisms. [...]
