“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

Important Note: I’ve been following Seth’s instructions fairly well, not completely—and today got more good James on Faith: he mentions the extra-normal or super-normal power again. As I took my nap I asked for assistance from that source. My head and neck area have been “moving around” constantly inside themselves, as mentioned in yesterday’s notes. When I awakened, something had suddenly cleared connected with the entire right side of my head and neck, involving the right ear, eye, jaw also. There was and still is what I feel is.... normal mobility, in the areas affected. These areas whatever they are, go through the right side of the body, downward; so that behind my right knee, for example, there is a sense of that mobility or easiness; and particularly in the right toe, though the entire right foot shares. (The entire right side isn’t so affected though—just these particular.... muscles? that were originally relieved in the head.) In those areas though, the mobility feels normal—uh, if I remember correctly... movement of the right arm is also much freer.

Inner mobility during this time will be sensed in the legs, though not as quickly apparent. [...] Tension in the head and neck floated down like ripples into the body, and for every obvious improvement in this kind of mobility (Jane waved her right arm about vigorously; it is much improved), inner small releases occur in the legs.

[...] His physical mobility will result from the body’s spontaneous creativity. [...]

[...] You can expect—if you continue as you are—far greater mobility in Ruburt’s neck, head and shoulders, clearing of the ears completely, greater relaxation of the entire face and throat area in rather quick progression.

Consciousness cannot be separated from mobility. It is true that you focus within the physical system mainly, yet the inner self is highly mobile and embarks simultaneously upon a variety of projections. The closest example in your experience of this mobility is the dream situation.

Consciousness is far more mobile than you realize. [...] You cannot experience subjective behavior “from outside,” so this natural mobility of consciousness, which for example the animals have retained, is psychologically invisible to you.

The mistrust of mobility, or fear that it could be taken away, was built up also, with other reasons given in the sessions, simply through the suggestion over the years of living with someone who was not mobile. [...]

I used the term “pass out of” the dream universe purposely, for here we see a mobility of action easily and often accomplished, a passing in and out that involves an action without movement in space. [...]

Some improvements, again, have begun, barely noticed: the additional mobility in the morning, when a short while ago Ruburt would sit for an hour or more after breakfast while you brought him his second cup of coffee. [...]

Your performances last evening are of great value from both of your standpoints, showing Ruburt the body’s capacity for joy, while each of you used mobility of feeling to express your emotions in a physical way.

The dream accentuated Ruburt’s determination to achieve normal motion, and his insistence in the dream that he depend upon his own mobility, rather than, say, a vehicle or conveyance. [...]

Ruburt’s feelings of physical mobility are to some extent connected with his feelings of creative mobility—that is, the connections are strong. [...]
