(Jane, as Seth, pointed at me, her eyes wide open.) I will greet you, of course, though you did not know me in a physical relationship in this life, you see.

(At 9:18 Jane told me she was starting to get the “pyramid feeling.” [...]

But Ruburt thought: “This is what most people are like, and if I give in to my impulses, will the days slide by me like that?”

(A note: Yet Bill told me of his troubles with golf this season, lamenting how he has problems getting any distance in his drives, speaking of taking some lessons and practice in an effort to improve his game. [...]

If it seems to you that there is a great gap existing within Christianity, between ideals expressed, and actions, then let me tell you that conditions would indeed be far worse if these ideals had not initially been expressed, and if they were not yearly reaffirmed.

(“I can sense the information outside of me, say, but I can’t get it in my regular state of consciousness. [...]

(“Well, I know you said in the last session [just before 10:33] that from her nonphysical reality my mother isn’t trying to coerce Jane and me into buying Mr. Markle’s house — yet I keep wondering what others will think about the idea of influence being felt in our reality from ‘the other side,’ you might say — ”)

(We discussed the general implications of Seth’s material on my mother — that she was not only “alive” after her “death,” but that a portion of her was focused upon Jane and me. [...]

[...] Speaking as Seth, Jane now delivered two pages of material for herself and me. Embedded within it were these lines: “Ruburt’s idea did come from me, about your reincarnational episodes involving the Roman officer, and your personal experience illustrates what I am saying in ‘Unknown’ Reality — the individual’s history is written in the psyche, and can indeed be uncovered.” [...]

Now, using an analogy only, let me explain that your thoughts and feelings also give off shadows (intently) that we will here call hallucinations.² They are quite valid. [...]

[...] “I’m sure I got that from Seth,” she told me after the first such instance had taken place this afternoon. [...]

[...] Mine came into consciousness before Jane’s did, but she soon caught up with me. [...]

[...] When Seth added the hill house to his list tonight, however, his connecting information about Jane and me was so intimate that we decided to delete parts of it. [...]

[...] “I feel funny — like some part of me wants to burrow into that house on Foster Avenue. [...]

[...] After she hung up Jane told me that before the session she’d had the feeling we would be interrupted in some way— probably through a visitor; but she hadn’t told me beforehand.

[...] Yet each thread itself would not be one-dimensional, but of many dimensions, and conceivably (underlined), if you knew how (Jane pointed at me for emphasis, still speaking rapidly), there would be ways of leaping from one thread to the other. [...]

(Before what we expected to be our regular session for Monday evening, Jane told me that she’d awakened in the middle of the previous night with insights about two practice elements¹ Seth would discuss — but we didn’t hear from Seth even though she felt him “around” as we prepared for the session.

(We were discussing the letter and half-facetiously wondering whether Seth might respond in any way, when Jane suddenly told me that she was picking up material on the “essence” of William James. [...]

[...] The psychologist asked me (deeper and with humor) to comment about Jung. [...]

However, it is quite possible for him to tune in to James’s complete book if he desires to, for that work is indeed a psychic reality, a plan or a model existing in the inward order of activity (as Jane had explained to me in similar terms this afternoon).

[...] Now she told me how earlier today she’d imagined herself visiting Enfield Glen.^* She said she did very well thinking of herself walking and climbing around the park and the pool — but then she ended up blue, thinking of all she had to go through yet before she could do those things. [...]

[...] He invited me to a late supper with his girl, Lisa. [...]

[...] It also reminds me of something Seth said many years ago — that when Jane passionately wanted to get rid of the symptoms, she would do so. [...]

[...] Those gorgeous children struck home with me for many reasons — partly because of Seth’s material, and partly because I think at my own age [65] I’ve come to appreciate more and more the truly creative act that being a parent is. [...]

As far as Ruburt is concerned, he did correctly receive a short message recently from me, and I will go into this now.

(Yesterday Jane told me of the message she thought she had received from Seth. [...]

(As the sound of the siren began to fade, my old familiar sensation that Seth has called the feeling of sound, swept over me quite strongly from head to toe—the rich tingling, the deep thrilling internally; I felt as though I might be lifted up; this feeling is very pleasant and sensuous now that I am no longer alarmed by it.

[...] Knocking on wall from below awakened me in the middle of this.

(Then Lizzie Roohan calls out to me from next door and I go over to see her. [...]

[...] I believe the same group was with me. [...]

[...] This made me very angry, for as I felt my friend buzzing inside my hands, I wondered how I would know him from any other insect once I released him in order to help him.
