[...] It was almost a nightmare—in fact Jane woke me out of it to prevent this seeming reaction on my part, I was fairly sure the dream concerned my father’s approaching death, but certain elements in it were similar enough to Seth’s suggestions about contacting Dr. Pietra, above, to make me tell Jane about it—on the off chance the dream had been more than it seemed.
Jane laughed when I asked her why she hadn’t told me of her feelings about Jonestown before: “You never asked me.” [...] Now she told me that Seth introduced the subject in that manner so that later she’d be more at ease dealing with it for Mass Events.
3. After this session, I was rather surprised when Jane told me that the Jonestown tragedy was an emotionally charged subject for her, and that Seth knew it. [...]

You considered yourself not impulsive, yet it is you who wrote “Make me a galaxy, Jane,” took up with Ruburt after a very brief acquaintanceship, and brought him home to your startled family.

In it, I’m trying to deal very simply with both the uncertainty principle and the complementarity of light, among other tenets of physics. [...]

If Philip did not already have a familiarity with me in these sessions, it would have been very difficult for me to have made my voice clear to him. [...]
The conditions simply happened to be excellent the evening that Philip heard me speak to him.
There is no particular reason why others could not hear me, but practically speaking the ego is usually on guard to prevent such communications. [...]
Philip was not consciously thinking of me, and his ego was not on guard. [...]
[...] This series of sessions in which Seth explained dream reality and gave us instructions about exploring it, always struck me as highly evocative, yet oddly ambiguous. In a way, Seth was as nebulous as dreams are, but we already had over two thousand pages of manuscript he had dictated through me in trance; and surely he had changed our lives. [...]
[...] At the same time, Seth began to send me on out-of-body journeys during some sessions and to offer, on his own, other instances of “paranormal” activity.
