“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

For example, I’ll see, say, Rob’s head with our floor stand growing out of it into a new kind of object.... which I’ll momentarily accept. I can disentangle these and often several are included.

I’ve experienced odd perceptions in relaxed states. They involve what I’ll call innocent perceptions, to show their lack of sophistication. They involve the spontaneous combination of living objects and non-living into curious juxtaposition.

[...] “I’ll tell you about it....” [...] I’ll be back in a minute.” [...] (Later I wished I had.) But I hadn’t explained much of the situation when my caller said, “We’ll have someone up there right away.” [...]

“Well,” I said to Jane after breakfast, “I suppose that if I don’t write some sort of account of what happened yesterday that I’ll regret it later. [...]

[...] To compensate—beginning at 10:35 PM —I’ll summarize my notes and concentrate upon the session proper. This way I’ll get the session done this evening. [...]

[...] After a few movements: “I think if I can stop moving I’ll have a brief session.”)

(“I guess I’ll be all right....” Jane said just before the session began, “but I don’t know how long it’ll be.” [...]

(“I’ll tell you something,” Jane said as we sat for the session at 8:55. [...]

[...] Don’t have Seth tell me in the sessions that you’re working out problems and that we’ll soon see improvements, because it doesn’t happen. [...] I’m on the point—I’m very close—to telling you that I’ll refuse to cooperate on the sessions any longer, meaning that I’ll be trying once more to save you from disaster. You’ll end up talking to the wall if you want to have a session, or into a recorder if you can learn to do it. [...]

(Yesterday’s session was mainly on the Sasquatch phenomenon, triggered I imagine by the program In Search Of, and I’ll probably take time off from Dreams one morning to get it done. [...] But we’ll make it.

[...] Carol wants to publish the work, and asks about a Butts-Roberts biography — something I think we’ll probably pass upon. I’ll write our publisher, Prentice-Hall.

[...] It doesn’t seem possible to her that she’ll be able to walk on it even if she does straighten it out. [...]

[...] You’ll be as free with them as you allow yourselves to be. [...] And I think that if we continue that we’ll really have some fantastic things going for us. [...]

(I should also add that Jane’s Doctor K. wants her to return to the emergency room there this Friday to see Dr. Sobel from Ithaca—provided he’ll be there, of course. [...]

Stopped writing these notes; getting some more good ideas for my preface— but the good feelings in my leg and foot continue; I want to call out to Rob and tell him, but feel constraint; he’s working on Unknown; I’ll disturb him ... [...] Do I think he’ll be annoyed—he might be—my foot feels joyful—quite a change! [...] I’ll tell myself the answer will come to me...

[...] Maybe someday we’ll be able to use it in a book, but in the meantime I’m not going to worry about it. Maybe he’ll keep on with it like this, and it’ll end up in a book of its own someday. [...]

I’ll also endorse Seth’s statement that children “are often quite aware of willing themselves sick to get out of difficult situations.” [...]

(Rather than go into more detail here, I’ll move to the session, which Jane began quite a bit later. I was surprised that she said she’d have one: “I don’t know whether I can do this, Bob, or how far I’ll get, but I’m going to try …”

(I’ll have to admit that when Seth was speaking I wasn’t sure whether he was contradicting himself or not—first talking about my accusing Jane, then commending me....

( We can’t remember everything, but I’ll try to give a precis of what he said, based on what we both remember. [...]

([Tam:] “Don’t worry, I’ll stick to bonsai!”

[...] Seth withdrew rather abruptly, and noticing the change in Jane, I added, “I’ll help Ruburt get back if there’s any need.” [...]

[...] “We’ll see what develops. I wonder what you’ll be doing six months from now, if Seth’s right?” I asked. [...]

(However, I’ve also discovered that I’ll have to watch my time if I want to get anything done—for “time” can slip away like smoke as I do chores, help nurses take care of Jane, or cook meals or take care of the cats or run errands. [...]

(“Well, I guess I’ll do a Seth thing tonight,” Jane finally said, and rather to my surprise, “but it won’t be long at all....” [...]

[...] “All right, I’ll see what I can do this time.... I do it every morning—I’ll try to do it now,” she said, restlessly shifting from side to side in the chair. [...]
