“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Below, Seth discusses a projection experience of Jane’s on Friday, May 9, that involved her perception of my astral presence in the apartment although I was at work at Artistic Card Company that day.)

[...] I asked humorously, after waiting to see if Jane was coming out of trance: “Did you hear what I said earlier this evening, about growing new teeth?”)

[...] I read Jane the title of Chapter Twenty-two, thinking that its indicated subject matter meant Seth was close to finishing his book….)

(11:13 p.m. Jane’s delivery had been steady and on the quiet side, usually, except for the underlined words and phrases that Seth had called for.

[...] “But you know what?” Jane asked. [...]

[...] Jane said that noise in the house had interfered with her trance state toward the end of her delivery, then added that she wasn’t at her best tonight anyhow. [...]

[...] Jane said her trance state had been “much better” for the second delivery; certainly her manner was more forceful. [...]

[...] “I’m still half in trance,” Jane said, “but I think book dictation’s over….” [...]

[...] Seth now delivered five minutes of material for Jane, and closed the session at 11:46 P.M.

The symbolism in the birth dream (of Jane’s) is obvious. [...]

(Jane’s voice flat and subdued, eyes closed. [...]

[...] Jane leaves rocker for straight chair.

(Once again Seth devoted the first delivery of the session to his introduction for Jane’s “Cézanne” book. [...]

[...] Seth returned at 11:35, and delivered material for Jane until ending the session at 12:13 A.M.)

[...] I found to my great concern that Jane had fallen from her chair in the doorway of the bathroom. [...]

[...] “Shitty,” Jane said with a rueful laugh. [...] Head and back more flexible; eyes not quite so red—“in and out” of focus in a period of minutes, yet Jane could see to work part of the time today, as Seth suggested.)

(Jane received her first copy of Cézanne Saturday morning. [...]

(Appendix 12 for Volume 2 is on evolution; I was surprised to realize that Jane’s reading it today had apparently triggered Seth’s material here.)

(Before the session, in line with our new way of thinking, Jane and I said that we could have six main categories in our lives: work; finances; living quarters; health; mobility; spiritual contentment, which would include helping others. [...]

[...] At break I took pains to explain to Jane that with the new approach I was using, I was quite aware that Seth had said it all before, and planned to go back over portions of the material thoroughly.)

[...] Jane’s delivery was fast, etc.)

[...] The rain resounded against the metal awnings sheltering the windows on the west side of the house—sounding, Jane said, as though we were in “a supertent....”)

Frank can say to Ruburt (Frank called Jane a “tough little bird”—which she liked), “Truly, your legs can straighten. [...]

[...] Jane soon decided to end it, saying that she had that “sick feeling” she sometimes gets when the material has been very personal. [...]

(Earlier tonight Jane had picked up from Seth some of his material for the session, should she decide to hold it.)

(10:42.) Now Seth went into an analysis of a very vivid dream Jane had recently had, involving her deceased mother. [...]

(When I told her she’d delivered an excellent, often impassioned session, Jane said she’d written half a page this morning that sounded a lot like Seth’s material. [...]

[...] Jane’s trance had been good, her pace fast. Before the session I had asked that Seth give Jane a prayer that she could use for herself; I would say from the above that he responded in excellent fashion, as usual.

[...] I told Jane that I did have a question but hadn’t asked it because we both seemed to be tiring. [...]

(“I feel half massive, but half relaxed, too,” Jane said as we waited for the session to begin. [...]

[...] Our cat, Willy, woke up and insisted upon climbing into Jane’s lap as she sat in trance. [...]

[...] Seth did an excellent job of describing the conditions that resulted in Jane’s “Cézanne experience.” [...]

(Although we hated to do it, Jane and I have finally arranged to have an unlisted telephone number. [...] Jane was the one who took most of the calls, for she was usually the one people wanted to talk to. [...]

[...] Seth’s remarks about Willy Two, or Billy, as we sometimes call him now, were obviously made in response to the funny annoyance we’d felt before the session, when the kitten had been in great form; jumping all over the furniture, pawing at the curtains — as well as Jane and me — getting in our papers, and so forth.)

[...] A personal supplement to our friend (Jane). [...]
