(We had two questions for Seth, since we’re trying to get into the habit of writing such down as they occur to us: 1. Jane wanted Seth to comment on why he’ll take off on something she’s read, and reinterpret it his own way, or carry it further; her question came up because he did this Monday while she’s reading Fred Hoyle’s book, Ten Faces of The Universe; 2. Jane wanted Seth to give information on her “significant” dream of last Saturday morning, July 1. She couldn’t remember any details from it, but has talked about it often; she thinks it had something to do with health.)
[...] I would imagine that Seth made his last remark because Jane and I were speculating about the fate of the material after our deaths – getting a literary executor, etc.)
(Jane, as Seth, paused. [...] But I think that Seth’s material here is the best we could possibly come across on our publisher, Castaneda, etc., and I’m sure that Jane will agree.
2. Material on Jane’s symptoms.
[...] Four books were featured, but none of Jane’s. I showed it to her, and it got as negative a reaction from her as it did me. [...]
An ordinary, reputable publisher does not know what to do with a Jane Roberts who produces a Seth of another reality—books on her own also, and books moreover of quality.
[...] Jane’s delivery had been good throughout the session, and once again she was relaxed now that it was over. Seth’s reference to the poor and nationalized health care referred to material Jane had picked up from him during the day; The poor were actually better off as they are now, without such a national health-care plan, for as it is they’re isolated from and immune to a number of ills they would start falling prey to if they could afford to pay for such treatment—that is, if the costs were paid for them. [...]
(As we sat for the session Jane gave me a copy [which is attached] of the dreams she had while taking a nap this afternoon. [...]
[...] Here Seth referred to Jane’s daytime writing projects.)
(End at 11:40 p.m. When Jane woke up the next morning, this passage of Seth’s from last night’s session was on her mind: “A group of selves forms a soul.” [...]
(Jane was sure that she’d spoken correctly in delivering the material, and checking, we found that my notes backed her up. [...]
(I had only part of the last session typed, so I read the rest of it to Jane from my notes. [...]
[...] Jane was very intent in her delivery.) The story of the fall, the rebellious angels, and the leader Satan who becomes the devil — all of this refers to the same phenomena on a different level. [...]

(This morning Jane found that for a few moments she could read very small print much better without her glasses than she could wearing them. [...] Jane has also been experiencing many other bodily changes, so that as a whole she’s felt rather besieged, and far from comfortable.
The men, working here (on Jane’s back room and porch), are distracting. [...]
[...] She and Jane talked until about 10:10.)
[...] Among other things, Jane wrote later: “I thought Rob was saying—when you’re completely recovered, etc we’ll take trips. [...]

[...] Jane was now pausing very noticeably between many phrases as she delivered this material.)
(Jane has just finished the final typing of her own The World View of Paul Cézanne, and now I’m ready to type the finished version of Volume I of Seth’s “Unknown” Reality. [...] Quite to my surprise, since typing isn’t one of her favorite activities, Jane announced that she’s going to help me type the final copy for Volume 1 — so each of us spent most of the day at our respective machines.
[...] Jane jokingly commented that she wished Seth could type too.)
(11:36 P.M. Jane said that Seth’s material was going to lead into the formation of EE units — electromagnetic energy units — and their collective role in the creation of physical matter.)

(The next morning, Jane awakened with the title of a book in mind. The Afterdeath Journal of an American Philosopher. [...]
(As mentioned earlier in this manuscript, Jane had received several pages of “James material” which she’d included in Psychic Politics, and Seth had given a session last year explaining her “subjective connections” with James. [...]
(Nevertheless, during the morning Jane suddenly felt that “something was ready.” [...]
(On September 27, Jane woke up after her nap with a batch of material in mind on: Private Revelation, and the Voice of God, or Divine Dialogues, which she wrote down. [...] Jane wasn’t sure why she came up with the material, since she hadn’t been thinking about such things, nor had we discussed anything relative to it recently. [...]
(An extra carbon of this session is being made for Jane to attach to her dream notebook. [...]
[...] I was dismayed to realize that some four and a half years had passed since that session had been held, and that we were still struggling with the same problems—indeed, that Jane had lost much ground physically in the interim. [...] I explained my feelings to Jane as we sat for the session, and as I talked felt myself sink into a deep depression. [...]
