Ruburt thinks that way fairly easily, so let him use the same kind of thought with his physical and psychic mobility, mentally imagining that he is opening inner rooms, discovering inner territory that has remained unclaimed or going back into delightful rooms, filled with motion that he had momentarily forgotten. When it seems that left alone Ruburt’s condition will only worsen, you are following those old patterns of conditioned thought, projecting negative situations into the future, imagining the unfortunate outcome or outcomes, and acting as if you operated within a closed system. [...] It is the ego that insists upon separating itself from events, preferring to imagine itself a spectator above events, rather than a participator in events.

[...] It represents a certain state of consciousness — an in-between threshold dimension of awareness, in which the imagination and the senses are almost caught in the act of putting an object together, or of bringing the world into a sensed reality, brand-new, from the realm of the inner mind: a very evocative state of consciousness, and one that as I believe Ruburt mentioned, you could also use in connection with faces.
