[...] See, for example, his material on reincarnational civilizations and the Lumanians in Chapter 15 of Seth Speaks. In Volume 1 of “Unknown” Reality, see his discussion on ancient man in the 702nd session, as well as Jane’s own material on the “innumerable species of man-in-the-making” in Appendix 6.
7. Seth has said all of this in various ways before, of course, since he began coming through Jane almost exactly 11 years ago — yet to my mind the four paragraphs just given contain some of his most important material in the two volumes of “Unknown” Reality. Certainly it buttresses any of his dream information in Volume 1.

(On June 5, 1968 John Pitre telephoned Jane from Franklin, LA, seeking answers to three questions: the reasons for John’s uneasiness concerning his wife Peg last week; the reasons for the loss of leg feeling John experiences in hot weather; and data on a pilot, Albert Blevins, who vanished on a flight in a small plane near the Gulf Coast about four years ago, presumably near Franklin.
[...] Ruburt was on the verge of realizing his freedom this evening in many areas beside the physical, and the strong therapeutic process is at work.

[...] Since there aren’t any laws about all of this, a great man could choose to do it that way in order to affect our world more with his gifts, from his own personal angles. [...] He’d have more than enough to offer on his own.”
[...] Seth came back to Jamaica in Jane’s ESP class the next evening [on November 19]; at the same time he began discussing his concept of “counterparts,” which he formally introduces in tonight’s [721st] session for “Unknown” Reality. His material enhances my Roman and Jamaican visions [and others] — which saves me considerable effort in figuring them out for myself, of course. [...]
[...] I don’t think those events directly led Seth into beginning his new material, but in retrospect Jane and I agree that they certainly played some considerable part in establishing a foundation, or impetus, for such a development.
[...] When I write “on her own,” I not only mean that Seth didn’t come through, but that Jane wasn’t aware of his presence even though she didn’t give voice to it.
[...] (Pause.) The more “civilized” man becomes, the more his social structures and practices separate him from intimate relationship with nature — and the more natural catastrophes there will be, because underneath he senses his great need for identification with nature; he will himself conjure it into earthquakes, tornadoes, and floods, so that he can once again feel not only their energy but his own.
[...] To one extent or another each individual involved saw himself in clear personal relationship with the nature of his life thus far, and sensed his kinship with the community. [...]
(9:54.) Natural disasters possess the great rousing energy of powers unleashed, of nature escaping man’s discipline, and by their very characteristics also remind man of his own psyche; for in their way such profound events always involve creativity being born, rising even from the bowels of the earth, reshaping the land and the lives of men.
The power of the water put each individual in touch with intimate recognition of his dependence upon nature, and made him question values taken for granted too long. [...]
[...] And while he does not speak often in class, what is said in class sinks into his mind, and he uses it in his own way. [...]
(To Mary Ellen.) You knew what the message would be before you came here on a subconscious basis and Ruburt, all unaware, has already delivered it to you, and it was in his terms to cool it because spontaneity must progress at its own rate and feel comfortable in both physical reality and inner reality. [...]
Now, if there ever was a puritan remark it was the one that just escaped our friend, Ruburt’s lips, for in his mind still, you see, you must have this purpose and be active and it is wrong to simply go back to bed for no better reason than that you want to go back to bed. [...]
[...] Ideas about it came into his consciousness. In the past, he did not believe that such bleed-throughs should occur, and so in his experience they did not usually emerge. They were there but his belief prevented his recognition of them.
Tonight Ruburt was exhausted, in one way, from comparing your joint beliefs with those of your brother’s family; of checking his own body beliefs (Jane touched her knee) with theirs and seeing where his were detrimental — but also from contrasting his personal psychic and creative abilities with theirs, and that exhilarated him. [...]
[...] The great trip, the great fascination, the cosmic energy and power and strength resides within the eyes of a frog, within the body of a suburbanite who mows his lawn. [...] Use your abilities to find out your reality but do not deprive another of his reality and do not allow yourself to become impressed. [...]

(Long pause.) Since ancient times religion has tried to help man understand the nature of his own subjective reality — but religion has its own dark side, and for this reason religion unfortunately has fostered fear of the spontaneous.
I was concerned somewhat with Ruburt’s reading of Jung, simply because while he seems to offer more than Freud, in some aspects he has attempted much, and his distortions are fairly important, in that seeming to delve further and offering many significant results, he nevertheless causes insidious conclusions. All the more hampering because of his scope.
Here you will discover man’s true origins, and the mechanisms and ways in which the unseen self operates, forms his universe of matter through psychic energy, and communicates on levels unperceived by his outer physical organism.

And any work that is done, is done with Ruburt’s consent, and our friend got his back up quite well after working for two years with psychologists. And if I were you, I would tiptoe out the door before someone tells him what you have come up with, for I am also dependent to some idea upon his receptivity and ideas. [...]
([Joel:] “In one of the stories that Jane wrote, the guy went down to the beach with the wind chimes and (words lost) tree and he selected atoms and that somehow absorbed them through himself into another system until there wasn’t any physical world that we know of left at all, and then as I recall at the end he popped through his whole universe and isn’t that somewhat the same kind of thing? (8:38.) He concentrated upon the vast gulf that seemed to separate the idealized good and the practical, ever-pervading corruption that in his eyes grew by leaps and bounds. [...] Eventually it seemed to him that he was surrounded by the corrupt, and that any means at his disposal was justified to bring down those who would threaten the presidency or the state.
The President at the time, and through all of his life before (pause), was at heart a stern, repressed idealist of a rather conventionally religious kind. [...]
So how can the well-meaning idealist know whether or not his good intent will lead to some actualization? [...]
