As Jane commented afterward, LeRoy Guy said not a single word to us about his reaction to Seth, although I’d watched him pay the same rapt attention to that personality as had many others. [...]

Other means would seem closed to him because of various personal beliefs that would form a vacuum in his experience — that is, he would see no other way, perhaps, to achieve the same end. [...]

We may not be able to pin Seth — as that energy personality essence calls himself — down to one physical race, but he is a Sumari: “And a very high lieutenant indeed, I will have you know,” he told us with much humor in his first session on the Sumari family of consciousness, the 598th for November 24, 1971. A month later he offered more insights on his own reality — the kind of information we’re always interested in acquiring (as I wrote in Note 7 for the 733rd session). [...]

[...] And added later: He comes up with another evocative phrase, “civilizations of the psyche,” in the 715th session in Volume 2 of “Unknown” Reality. Much of that session can be taken as an extension of his material here on the qualities of consciousness that have existed on the earth. [...]

Our Ruburt did indeed steal from me a few paragraphs in his book, that were not rightfully his in one manner of speaking. [...]

[...] Here we have several personalities, all operating within one self, each unaware of the other, and each going his own separate way.

[...] His hobby is rope work, and at times the designs he uses are quite complicated.

[...] They act as symbols of inner reality, so it’s only natural that whether he’s aware of it or not, man perceives objects in such a fashion that they also stand for symbols that first originate in his dreams. [...]

We will for now, however, confine ourselves to a discussion of consciousness in the beginning of the world, stressing that the first basis of physical life was largely subjective, and that the state of dreaming not only helped shape the consciousness of your species, but also in those terms served to provide a steady source of information to man about his physical environment, and served as an inner web of communication among all species. [...]

At this point in my speculations I’m usually led back to Seth’s EE (or electromagnetic energy) units, and his CU’s (or units of consciousness). [...]

Since it’s sometimes difficult to be sure of just what Seth is saying, in retrospect I wished that either he’d volunteered more information about his explosion-expansion, or that I’d been quick enough to ask him to do so. [...]

The emotional climate, though intangible, is intimately known by each individual as it exists within himself, and it is the best indication of his physical condition, for thoughts and emotions as independent electrical actions have great influence directly upon the physical mechanism, acting indeed as electric storms which flash through the entire nervous system; or as great stabilizers as the case may be, and with of course many middle varieities of influence.

[...] Again here you see, however, that it is the individual himself who initiates his own emotional climate, and then suffers or enjoys the results.
