I want to show you how form can be changed, even on your own plane, and give you clear examples here so that you will see how in the inner reality universe, vitality can and does change its form at will. [...]

A little unconnected comment here, concerning your good doctor’s suggestion that you ask me about the stock market.

If you do not understand the natural grace of your being¹ then when you try some of the exercises given here you may automatically translate them into a quite limiting set of beliefs.

[...] Here the possible benefits are far greater than in usual life and travel, but you are still yourself. [...]

Now here is another brief but potent exercise.

Here, often, and for various reasons, you find a hidden and distorted sense of power that says, “I am so powerful that I could kill you with my thought, and yet I refuse to do so.” [...]

[...] There could also be a play on words here, in that Maxine is wearing one of the old-fashioned square-shouldered two-piece suits in style then: Suitable, suit. [...]

(Pause.) There is much material here that I will give you, because it is important that you understand the different ways of relating to reality, and how those ways create the experienced events.

I want it understood that we are indeed dealing with two entirely different approaches to reality and to solving problems — methods we will here call the rational method and the magical one. [...]

[...] Again, however, Framework 2 is not neutral, but automatically inclined toward what we will here term good or constructive developments. [...]

[...] There is a cultural aspect here that you do not realize, and that you would consider beneath you.

(Looking at me:) I am speaking so directly as if our friend were here, because the emotional rapport is stronger, and if you will forgive me Joseph, when I look at you, you see, I am seeing our friend instead.

[...] Here we are speaking about conditions that can be physically corrected — but not the growth of an arm if you were born without one, for example, or the correction of other lacks in the body at birth.

[...] It would help here if the reader remembers what has been said about natural guilt earlier in this book. [...]

Here in different context is the same denial of the worth and integrity of earth experience. [...]

I have explained somewhat earlier how the gestalt ego consciousness was formed, and to some degree explained its psychic composition, but there is much more to be said here. [...]

[...] I am endeavoring to end our sessions, for a while at least, at an earlier hour for several reasons, which will not concern you; and I will here end the session, I should imagine with your approval.

[...] There is a delicate balance here of spontaneity and discipline, and I try to keep the sessions fluid, fluent, disciplined and yet also to give them life through spontaneity.

[...] There is much more that could be said, but I simply here want to mention that such issues demand far more of a gifted personality.

[...] The main issue here is that feeling of responsibility again, so that he writes or whatever because he loves to do it, not because he should or must, and that involves my books as well as his own. [...]

Now: This is difficult to explain, and for our present purposes it is not entirely necessary that you understand the reasons for this pulsing; but even physically, you are “not here” as often as you are. [...]

[...] You will follow your own lines of development, and through means far too difficult to explain here, you add to the experience of the superself and also then extend the nature of its reality. [...]

I want to do some dictation, though I may have some comments later, so give us a moment here.

[...] As you are learning, spontaneity is extremely important here. [...]

It is also beneficial to dip into those areas with no purpose in mind, for here whatever necessary information that you require without your conscious knowledge can be made available. [...]

[...] There are some individuals embarked upon a study of dreams, working in the “dream laboratories”; but here again there is prejudiced perception, with scientists on the outside studying the dreams of others, or emphasizing the physical changes that occur in the dream state. [...]
