REGARDING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 1966

This evening’s present symptoms are the result of the fact that Friday is already thought of as a school day. These can be dissipated if Ruburt reminds himself before sleeping of his intent to work on the dream book tomorrow and Friday morning.

[...] Then on Friday morning she received another, shorter passage of library material. [...]

(At noontime that Friday, then, Jane told me that she was going into another altered or enhanced state of consciousness. [...]

No sooner had I described this second adventure to Jane than she surprised me by saying she might use both of the Roman experiences in Politics. She thought she could tie them in with her material on the “ever-changing models for physical reality” that she’d obtained from her psychic library last Friday morning.

At least to some degree, Jane’s exploration last Friday afternoon of those super-real models for our world represented her use of the sixth inner sense — the same one, she wrote in Chapter 19 of The Seth Material, that “… also shows itself in inspirations, and episodes of spontaneous ‘knowing.’ Surely this sense was partially responsible for my Idea Construction manuscript.” [...]

[...] I can add to Jane’s paper that we went over last Friday’s session together Saturday night after I’d finished typing it, and discussed a number of points rather specifically. [...]

[...] We talked about the fun we used to have on Friday nights at 458, years ago, when the sessions had just gotten underway, and Jane often spontaneously let Seth come through. [...]

(We did take Tom’s address and phone number, Jane telling him that she might invite him and friends to the house some Friday night, with others. [...]

[...] I want to pay the taxes by Friday to get free of them, and to see if this act helps set me free. [...]

FEBRUARY 3, 1984

(On Friday, June 21, 1968, Jane sent the manuscript of her dream book to Parker Publishing Company Inc., Village Square Building, West Nyack, N Y. On Saturday, June 28, a card arrived from Parker with this message:

NOVEMBER 4, 1983 4:14 PM FRIDAY

(I bought the membership in AAA on Friday, August 14,1964, at about 1 PM. [...] Jane and I drove downtown Friday. [...]

[...] I obtained the actual object on Friday, August 14,1964; while doing this the car was left at the station for servicing, and the events developing at the station very nearly prevented our leaving on vacation the following day, Saturday, August 15.

[...] As noted in the car data on pages 8 and 9, I had an appointment to pick up the car at the service station at 5 PM Friday, August 14,1964, the same day I bought membership in AAA. [...]

[...] But the guest house in which we stayed on Friday had a verandah.”)

[...] This again was on Friday and Saturday, October 22-23.”

[...] We no doubt discussed them today, since Monday night the four of us made plans to go to the nearby island of St. Thomas, next Friday, October 22.”

(“However, when we flew to St. Thomas from San Juan on Friday, October 22, our plane left the airport at 10:45 AM.”

(Friday evening Jane and I were visited by a psychologist [Ed Ostrander] from Cornell, after an exchange of letters over a period of several months. [...]

[...] It fit in so well with the visit last Friday evening, concerning authority versus our interests, that I asked if Seth would comment on both the visit and that four-year-old session this evening.)

[...] I viewed it as a helpful expression, and wondered if it was connected with the letter she had received from Harry Edwards, in England, last Friday, August 9. In the letter Edwards told of a program he had begun, to send healing energy to Jane.

[...] The events of Friday evening have literally changed the lives of those present, yourselves included. [...]

[...] Some did come, and you used it well Friday evening.

(The heading The Wonderworks first came to Jane as she sat at her desk last Friday morning, May 17. [...]
