Now, let us continue: Ruburt has been working with what he calls the inward order of events. Tell him that in that order of events he can walk so well at this point, now, that anyone would have to look twice to discover that he was not walking perfectly. That is the situation in the inner order of events now.

You could (underlined twice) walk into “yesterday” as well as tomorrow at that point of birth — if you could walk — and indeed your perception brings you events both in and out of time sequence. Responses to out-of-time events do not bring the infant recognition, approval, or action, however. [...]

[...] The ghostly qualities in that event fit in with what I was trying to do in the painting: By leaving the thick gray and white underpainting of my “portrait” of “Jane” without color, I realized, I could express not only a probable interpretation of her, but the colorless qualities of the Saratoga experience itself. Nightmares on the part of children often operate as biological and psychic releases, during which buried out-of-time perceptions emerge explosively — events perceived that cannot be reacted to effectively in the face of parental conditioning. [...]

(Yet, it has been proposed that some light radiation might escape from the “event horizon” just above, or surrounding, the black hole, and that eventually this radiation may be detected with more advanced satellite equipment. [...]

[...] The thoughts, for example, of All that Is were not simply thoughts as you might have, but multidimensional mental events of superlative nature. Those events soon found that a transformation must occur (pause), if they were to journey into objectivity—for no objectivity of itself could contain the entire reality of subjective events that existed within divine subjectivity. [...] Without going into a lot of speculative detail, such an event would imply the obliteration of our probable physical universe as we know it. [...]

[...] Space and time, for instance, are not separate or uniform entities, but closely related intuitive “constructs” of consciousness; mass is a form of energy; motion is not absolute, but relative to the motion of something else; two observers, each moving at a different velocity relative to a common sequence of events, will perceive those events in different courses of time.

[...] (Long pause.) The chart of events at the time of your “birth” is like one small snapshot of someone’s backyard in the afternoon. [...]

[...] Before, he was afraid to see psychic events. [...] He has poor eyes, because he did not want to see physical events. [...] He was poor in forming clear mental images, even as he was poor at seeing physical events.

In any system the idealization has already accepted certain kinds of events as significant, and has rejected other (quite-as-probable events) as nonsignificant. [...]

Since those notes were born so directly from that event, and since they represent the first strong intrusions from the interior universe into my own life, I still find them intriguing. [...]

Since all events occur at once, there is little to be gained by saying that a past event causes a present event.

[...] The chapter deals with the negative effects and aspects of inoculations, and certainly reinforces Seth’s own material in Mass Events on the harmful effects of many inoculations. (Here Seth referred to several examples of “synchronicity,” involving especially a dream of Ellspeth Weissenbuehler’s, and several events involving herself, Jane. [...]

(In the opening notes for Session 852 I wrote that starting with the 846th session for April 4, “Seth has been dictating material for Mass Events on Wednesday evenings only.” [...]

The motive power of the universe and of each particle or wave or person within it is the magnificent thrust toward creative probabilities, and the tension that exists, the exuberant tension, that exists “between” probable choices and probable events. [...]

[...] Only people who trust their spontaneous beings and the altruistic nature of their impulses can be consciously wise enough to choose from a myriad of probable futures the most promising events — for again, impulses take not only [people’s] best interest into consideration, but those of all other species.

[...] As he does so, he learns that some of these realities nearly coincide with the physical one, that on certain levels events become physical in the future, for example, while others do not. [...]

[...] Like the dream information given above, these instances demonstrate how “Unknown” Reality and the events of Jane’s daily living are interwound.

In the Preface I also wrote about how I thought the great blossomings of religious consciousness and scientific consciousness engendered by the events at Three Mile Island and Jonestown/Iran would continue to grow, once born, seemingly with lives of their own. [...]

[...] In your terms the magnetic fields themselves fluctuated—but all of the species were there at the beginning, though in the same fashion, for as the dream world broke through into physical reality there was all of the tumultuous excitement and confusion with which a mass creative event is achieved. That kind of an event simply cannot fit into your concepts of “the beginning of the world,” with consciousness arising out of matter almost as a second thought, or with an exteriorized God initiating a divine but mechanistic natural world.

Over the weekend we’d signed the contracts with our publisher, Prentice-Hall, for Mass Events and God of Jane, and I mailed them this morning. [...] In their unique ways, I told Jane, my notes for Mass Events are the most challenging writing I’ve done. [...]

[...] I expect that sessions like this evening’s will themselves help you understand the nature of Frameworks 1 and 2, and the importance of your mental activity in bringing about physical events.

(A number of events, foremost among them the death of Jane’s mother after an illness of many years, caused us to lay these sessions aside after Seth finished his preface on April 10. [...]

[...] Using this analogy the mountains and oceans, the valleys and rivers and all natural phenomena spring from the earth’s soul, as all events and all manufactured objects appear from the inner mind or soul of mankind.

It is not as easy, however, to realize that your feelings and thoughts form your exterior experience in the same way, or that the events that appear to happen to you are initiated by you within your mental or psychic inner environment.

It is the core belief which is strong enough to so focus your perception that you perceive from the physical world only those events that correlate with it. It is also the strength of the core belief that draws up from the vast bank of inner knowledge only those events that seem to fit within its organization.

I was curious as to how often such a “negative psychology” operated—when, simply because of his or her own hang-ups, an individual [or more than one person] is attracted to a site where strongly negative events had taken place. [...]

[...] When they draw circles or squares, they are trying to reproduce those inner shapes, transposing those images outward into the environment—a creative act, highly significant, for it gives children experience in translating inner perceived events of a personal nature into a shared physical reality apparent to all.

[...] Many body events that you think of in your society as negative — certain viruses, for example — are instead meant as self-corrective devices, even as fever actually promotes health rather than impedes it.

Both of your “negative” dreams express left-over doubts and fears, and the old concept that the poorest rather than the best outcome of any event will happen. [...]

[...] Afterward she insisted that I’d been out-of-body too, although I have no conscious memory of such an event. [...]

The entire conversation was an attempt to make the event seem reasonable, an attempt to color in the picture.
