[...] I think at the moment that I’ll continue to rise early to get three hours in on Mass Events in the mornings, paint and run errands in the afternoons, and have evenings for either sessions or more work on Mass Events. [...]

(The little I’ve worked with the pendulum tells me my troubles are rooted in money attitudes, as well as the production time I’ve lost on Mass Events for the last two weeks and more. [...]

Oversoul Seven is also involved in some fashion, especially the movie aspects —for when Jane called Eleanor Friede to offer her Emir, Eleanor told Jane she was about to call her about Seven, the call having to do with possible motion picture connotations, through a well-known screenwriter; that is the kind of event intertwined with the whole affair; nor have Jane and Eleanor contacted each other for probably a couple of years.

[...] A chart made of all the events to date would show an interlocking pattern of lines, I believe, like a spider’s web. [...]

On the other hand, the decision to have the interview (for the Village Voice), to take up with Eleanor, and so forth—these events catapult old beliefs to the forefront of Ruburt’s mind—an excellent reaction, by the way—for when those beliefs are voiced and discussed then they can be understood and eventually dismissed.

[...] The event of the interview showed you both, in concentrated form, how much you hid from others, and led to the further decision as described in our last session–not to hide Ruburt’s condition, and not to be apologetic about it either.

(A note by R.F.B.: Seth was often pretty outspoken in Mass Events when he discussed our medical beliefs and practices, and the unfortunate results they sometimes bring about. [...]

(There is also some factual connection in the displacement, since by using the pendulum recently we have learned of the rather important role Blanche played in some of Jane’s earlier associations; due to a complicated variety of events Jane has been bothered lately by some physical symptoms we are in the process of eliminating. [...] Yet in Monday night’s deleted 847th session that “energy personality essence,” as he calls himself, digressed once again from work on Mass Events to give us more excellent material on plant and animal consciousness. [...]

(Through all of the mass and personal events referred to in the sessions and notes since she gave the 832nd session on January 29, Jane has occasionally written poetry and painted — and worked steadily at her third Seven novel: Oversoul Seven and the Museum of Time. [...]

To one extent or another, all of the events of their lives happen punctuated or accented by the possibility of disaster. [...]

The severity of the “event” at Three Mile Island has spurred antinuclear protesters into action in many areas of the country; and the proliferating state, federal, and industry investigations into the accident promise to generate a collective fallout of a kind that’s bound to have far more impact on the nuclear power industry, and society, than anything that’s come from the crippled plant itself so far. The system of probabilities is not as easily perceived even as those events that exist within the dream state, for with these you are familiar, while you are in the dream state. Often the ego is even made aware of dream events. Now the self that is the I of your dreams can quite legitimately be compared to the self that experiences probable events.

April 12 have a “dream” that a man is talking to me about Mass Events primarily, saying that he’s seen a copy and there is nothing about the disclaimer to anger me, that it’s ok, and then mentioning God of Jane. [...]
