Now: Very briefly, I want to congratulate Ruburt on the Rembrandt book, and to reassure him that that same creative energy is healing his body as surely as it has written books. There is nothing to keep that kind of energy in one compartment only. Let him realize that (emphatically), and the healing energy can more freely circulate through his physical body—with results as astounding as his books are! [...]

[...] Among them was a reminder to Jane that each evening as I lay in bed I send her healing energy and my prayers for her deep recovery. [...] Then I squeeze out all those things as I hold the sponge out a window; the afflictions soak into the ground where they’re transformed into positive energy and attributes.

[...] That healing energy has now been accelerated. [...]

(I added that Seth’s remark about using the same energy for healing that she’d used to produce Rembrandt was another excellent example of obvious insights—once one was aware of it. [...]

The man is using his own energies less effectively, since so much of them are being consumed in nervousness. He has not learned to conserve his energies, but to use them at all it seems that he must allow them almost to explode, so that there is little reserve. [...]

[...] It will involve perhaps more than anything else the task of slowly changing the focus of his attention and energies, of turning energies that are being used in a self-destructive manner into constructive channels.

Our focus of energy is vital, both yours and mine. Expectation to a large extent determines the manner in which we will use this energy, and the types of constructions that will be formed. [...]

There is a certain knack necessary on Ruburt’s part, a difference in the way in which energy is used, a variation of method between sessions in which rather objective material is presented, and in those sessions where we attempt to make a more personal type of contact.

We shall have a session dealing almost entirely with the nature of energy gestalts, and you will see that while these pyramid energy gestalts do, on the one hand, achieve a unitary character and sublime intelligence, on the other hand they form only an approximation of humanity’s concept of a God. This unitary gestalt which we may call, and I prefer it to the word God, the primary energy gestalt.

[...] Personalities, or any type of individualized energy, may pass through various realities. The appearance of energy in one form could be said to end in that form were it not for the existence of the spacious present, in which all realities are simultaneous.

[...] One is a conceptual energy force reality which is much more than some theoretical world of ideas, but a reality in which individual energy is used in a constant manipulation of idea or concepts into constructions that, while not physical in your terms, is nevertheless a vivid and actual, concrete field of manipulated and applied force in which matter may be, but is not always, an end result.

This primary energy gestalt may be thought of as straddling all realities, or existing in the infinite realities of which we have spoken. [...]

[...] These personalities, however, store up their energy so that one personality often exhibits explosive behavior, or makes certain decisions that seem (underlined) to go against the wishes of the main entity. [...] In fact, the main personality is able to express many different kinds of probable action, but the entire personality is prevented from acting with its full energy or power. Instead the energy is diverted into other channels.

People with so-called secondary personalities also fear their own energy. [...] This psychological ploy neatly prevents the so-called main personality from using all of its energy at any one time.

People who have epilepsy are also afraid of their own energy.

[...] They are afraid that left alone their energy might strike out against others, and so they short-circuit its use, having attacks that momentarily render themselves helpless.

[...] The energy that is used as I speak to you can be utilized in many ways, and the energy that is yours can be utilized in many ways. Watch the ways you utilize your energy. [...] This energy is a protection of your own personality and your own will and of your own spirit. [...]

[...] When Ruburt receives my energy, often he does not know what to do with it. [...] He thinks that the energy collects about him until it could shatter the walls of the room. [...]

Know, however, that your own emotions and your own feeling and your own vitality has such an energy and a power as my voice shows this evening. And it is your purpose to utilize and direct and focus your own energy. [...]

You will to some degree learn control amid a conglomeration of energy forces that have no objective form. All objects as you know are energy. If the energy is focused in a particular manner, then you have physical objects within your system.

[...] The energy is focusing toward materialization. There is also energy that will never focus in this way. The bulk of this energy is mental, or exists in such a way that you will never perceive it as form. [...]

[...] But generally speaking high energy is needed in order to maintain overall stability, and in order that the ego is not overstrained. [...]

[...] You will be aware of the mental energy and psychic force that gives all objects their existence.

[...] No energy is not used. [...] It is the appearance only of an effect within the physical perspectives; that seemingly unusable energy helps form your dream universe. That energy from which you seem to get no work physically, that energy which seems to diminish in value, is plowed backward into inwardness, regenerated and used to form universes without which you could not exist even as physical beings.

For energy regenerates itself. And as I have told you consciousness, conscious energy, continually manifests itself in various forms. [...] Remember last session’s explanation of mental enclosures, composed of inward, individualized, aware energy, materializing itself in physical form, and at a particular point closing off and becoming more or less a closed system.

[...] Inward, individualized, aware energy existed before the conception of your time, your time obviously being an interpretation of the spacious present, from which all creation not only originally began but continues in terms of value fulfillment. [...]

[...] However, those who ask concerning the time of the origin of consciousness within your universe, are those who do not understand that the most minute physical particle, the most microscopic, is a materialization of inner, aware energy.

THE CONCENTRATION OF ENERGY, BELIEFS, AND THE PRESENT POINT OF POWER

The concentration of energy follows your beliefs. [...]

I am not assigning human traits to energy. Instead, your human traits are the result of energy’s characteristics—a rather important difference. [...]

Once again, in terms of your equations, energy and consciousness and matter are one. And in those terms—in parentheses: (the qualifications are necessary)—consciousness is the agent that directs the transformation of energy into form and of form into energy. [...]

There are certain characteristics inherent in energy itself, quite aside from any that you ascribe to it, since of course to date you do not consider energy conscious.

At this point in my speculations I’m usually led back to Seth’s EE (or electromagnetic energy) units, and his CU’s (or units of consciousness). [...] It is aware energy … not ‘personified’ but awareized.” [...]

([Brad:] “But the proper direction of the energy is the important thing, is it not?”)

It is a fact beyond dispute that at a later hour he is able to avail himself of energy not usually available to him, and to use this energy constructively and effectively. Without duplicating the exact circumstances the three of you in this room can learn to use your energy as effectively in ordinary pursuits. [...] Mark has also much energy that he is not using.

[...] For reasons that I will discuss later, the shift of seasons always gives rise to added bursts of psychic energy, though indeed the added bursts of psychic energy are in main responsible for the shift of seasons.

[...] You both can and should learn to utilize your energies in the same manner that Ruburt utilizes his energies during a session. [...]

It makes you use the last bit of available energy before replacement. The correct statement is that you have truly and practically inexhaustible stores of energy to draw upon. So-called nervous energy is that amount of energy present within the physical organism at any particular point.

Energy, by nature, replaces itself and thrives with use. A false conception of energy however results in a psychic refusal to transform completely available energy into physical terms, merely because of the subconscious belief that such a transformation is basically impossible.

[...] However, in all cases even minor physical nuisances deplete energy. Energy is yours for the asking, as you know, but you must know enough to ask.

[...] Subconsciously like many others you believe that once energy is spent it is gone, and also that you have only some arbitrary amount of energy to be used, after which you will become bankrupt. [...]

[...] In our sessions I usually bring additional energy with me, and Ruburt knows how to handle it. If you recall such earlier statements I made concerning the nature of his energy pattern, he is geared to handle high amounts of energy, and to use them.

Such images are constructed of emotional energy, but they also are partially formed from the chemical structure of the individual or individuals behind such productions. [...] The impetus is emotional, and the pseudoframework is formed of emotional energy, but the image itself must be built up in part of physical components, and these must come from somewhere.

[...] Here aggressive and destructive energies were unconsciously projected outward, given a pseudoreality and a temporary physical validity. [...]

[...] Though the mind, or brain rather, may be seemingly passive in the case of the perceiver, the metabolism is quickened, for the body is using energy at a quickened rate.

[...] There are many means and methods, but it must not necessarily slow down for need of energy. Framework 2 provides an energy as vital as any given you at birth, and that energy constantly renews the body. [...]

Framework 2 is a source of ever-renewing energy. Now generally you believe that the body must wear down, become slower, that you are given so much energy at birth—a hypothetical but definite amount, which is then used up heartbeat by heartbeat. [...]

Now: in Ruburt’s story of Emir, he presents a theoretical new earth, yet in the truest meaning of that term, earth is ever-new, for fresh energy comes into the exterior world from an interior source.

[...] This causes a transforming reorganization of energy, thought, and creativity—a vast transforming process, for behind the individual is the entire good intent of nature, which springs from the resources of Framework 2.

Often you can help each other quite effectively, direct your energies toward the other, and bypass those impediments that help prevent you from using your own psychic energy as well as you should in your own behalf; so that you can help Ruburt in some areas where he is weak, and he can help you in some areas where you are weak. You get a full concentration of healing energy in this way, and directed through love.

[...] What he felt this week, and in beginning his book, was the rousing of his energies. [...] Now when he feels a sense of exhilaration—he knows the subjective feeling I refer to—then have him direct it, that energy, to his arms. [...]

In last night’s session (for Jane’s ESP class) rather extraordinary amounts of energy were released here, to the benefit of all concerned. [...]

Now I do not mind your chasing the cat (Seth’s voice was suddenly loud; I had taken a swipe at our cat Willy with my notepaper, when he was about to jump up into Jane’s lap), but chasing my foot is another matter… this energy is then picked up by the families of the students, and their lives indirectly benefited.

[...] (Pause.) The main energy of the man you call your father left long ago, as I told you. He (pause) gathered his energies together and is waiting, but part of his energies were given to the son of Ruth (my first cousin).

[...] When the man called your father dies his energy will return to the self who is waiting. That self will then call back the energy which it has loaned to Ruth’s son.

[...] It either has less and less control over the organism because it has not solved its problems well enough, because it has already largely decided to leave the system, but does so gradually; or because in some instances there is a psychic block, which prevents full utilization of energy in this important regard.

[...] It gathers its energy within the next system.

[...] Each individual is a portion of the universe, of course, apropos of the book on the Fabric of the Universe, but the universe is everywhere composed of awareized energy—energy “stamped” with its own unique psychic or psychological “individuality.”

Using “real objects” now, you learn to manipulate energy with the models before you, so to speak, gaining confidence so that “later” you can trust yourselves in the use of energy without needing the physical appearance of, say, an object before you. [...]

Now: I have been sending you psychic telegrams of energy —both of you — for your present endeavors.

[...] Your world of physical objects is quite important, in that because it allows you to deal with differentiations, to pinpoint energy where you want it while giving you an observable physical effect, so that this training can carry over in other realities in which the same kind of physical feedback is not available, is subsidiary, or is otherwise not as much a part of the camouflage structure.

[...] Perhaps the word abundance of chemical energy would be more correct. The chemical energy is above that which is ordinarily needed by the individual physical organism, yet it must be used. [...]

[...] Now the physical organism simply cannot handle all of the energy that is available to it. It has abundant energy, not only to care for itself but to create a favorable physical environment. [...]

The suggestion was given that he have an abundance of energy, and that he would focus and discipline the energy so that he could use it in his writing and in his psychic work. [...]

Now I shall tell you that physical weather is also caused in part by psychic energy, rushing through the human system and through the systems of all living creatures, and also by an excess, a chemical excess, beyond that which the individual organism can handle.

The fear that blocks that energy can indeed be dissipated if new beliefs are inserted for old ones — so again we return to those emotional attitudes and ideas that automatically promote health and healing. Each individual is a good person, an individualized portion of universal energy itself. [...] Life means energy, power, and expression.

[...] Since your physical body itself is composed of the very energy that drives the universe, then there is nothing about you which that energy is unaware of. [...]

Behind the entire problem, however, is the fear of using one’s full power or energy. [...]

Next, gently remind yourself again: “I am an excellent person,” adding: “It is good and safe for me to express my own abilities, for in doing so I express the energy of the universe itself.”
