[...] He also gives us the Sunday edition, and various news magazines on a regular basis, so in this sense he has a strong “news" connection with us. [...]

1. Some of my letters were triggered on October 9 (this month), when Jane and I received our first copies of Seth Spreekt, the Dutch-language edition of Seth Speaks. We saw at once that the people at Ankh-Hermes, the publishing company in the Netherlands, had cut the book considerably. [...]

[...] Jane did review them for me while I was working on this note, however, and here’s a slightly edited version of what she wrote as a result of her study:

[...] At the same time, Tam Mossman, Jane’s editor at Prentice-Hall, is trying to find out whether the Dutch edition of Seth Speaks has been published. [...] The German-language edition of Seth Speaks was published in Switzerland four months ago [in May], and just three weeks ago we received our first fan letter from that country. [...]

[...] Tam Mossman edited Lee’s autobiography, Strange Experience, which was published in 1971 by Prentice-Hall. [...]

[...] Seth’s data proved to be unexpectedly penetrating and intimate — so much so that what follows is edited to some degree. [...]

6. A note added six months later: When Seth referred to “this book” in the 715th session, he meant a one-volume edition of “Unknown” Reality, of course. [...]

[...] In the dream he sees himself returning to the comics, only the Sunday edition (special), and the superhero character is much more prominent than the comics would ordinarily have it; the smaller head representing, I think, the idea that the intellect’s place is smaller or of a lesser nature than he earlier supposed. [...]

10. This note is as much for my own edification as it is for anyone else’s. The definitions are from Webster’s New World Dictionary of the American Language, Second College Edition, © 1970 by The World Publishing Company, New York and Cleveland:

Early in September Tam mailed back to us, for our approval, the copy-edited 484-page manuscript for Mass Events. [...]
